There were no positives on Wednesday(for some reason people thought because we sat back with 11 men behind the ball, and didn’t concede, it was good), and today just shows that. Everton are just woeful and these players will struggle next season(whoever remains). We’ll need a complete overhaul of this squad during the short summer period we have. Nice to see Hodgson getting at least some stick from the two Watford fans at the end, with what looked to be Hodgson exchanging words back with them. Gino & Duxbury are the real issue of course, Hodgson was just a complete and utter you know what. Conceded the most goals of any premier league side in one campaign, at home. Thankfully this means we’ve got another trophy for the trophy cabinet, along with the most nutmegs trophy. A lot to be positive about.
Applauded the ****s. 23 points. 2 home wins. The much-needed "Duxbury Out" chant was like raindrops on a tin roof. Rob Edwards has made a huge mistake.
It will go pride and place alongside these: Most consecutive games without a clean sheet Most consecutive home defeats in a row
Is that David Cronenberg sitting in front of them? No wonder it was a horror show. It really was rabid, a performance to send shivers down your spine, we'll be brooding on this for weeks.
As bad as Leicester have been all season, I would swap our sides over in a heartbeat. Not one of these players (bar maybe one or two) deserve to wear the yellow shirt. I am not blaming the youngsters and bench warmers who have come in these past two games, the rest of them I mean. We have a CEO who doesn't have clue, a dodgy business man we do our transfers with, an owner who cannot run a football club without daddies help, players who don't give to sh!te's at FT and a bunch of managers who sit in the dugout for a pay cheque. Only people who care about this club is the fans'. What GT built is being torn apart and he would be ashamed of what we are turning into right now.
Irony is we could have scored from the next corner. Talking to a Leicester fan on the way out, he said you have been terrible away all season. But at least you have an opportunity to improve on this seasons finish.
Genuinely have the biggest set of pussies for fans in the entire country. Just complete and utter enablers of failure.
It beggars belief why such an apparently intelligent and up-and-coming manager should want to leave a club he just got promoted and join us. One look at the people sitting in front of him today should have been enough to stop him signing for us. People in charge of assembling our squad who are at best incompetent and at worst (allegedly) corrupt. And on the field, a squad so short of character and backbone, let alone much skill, that there’s hardly anybody you’d want to see next season if we are to compete at the higher end of the league. Mid-table mediocrity beckons in the Championship..or even worse..and we’ve brought it all on ourselves.
4 points won at home since they fired Xisco and that was back in September (or early October, I can’t remember)
I really feel for you Skyla. The way your owners have mugged you off this season is dreadful. Hodgson has come across as a Grade A ****, you’ve got a dodgy agent in the director’s box and a #Bantz YouTuber in goal.
Five. Man Utd W 4-1 Newcastle D 1-1 Everton D 0-0 Doesn't make it any better - this season has been a complete disaster from start to finish.
This makes the new managers job a bit easier to be fair. Expectations are much lower. At the moment we look mid table at best
Glad the lads bowed out with their heads held high today. I honestly think Gino should try to tempt Roy to stay on in some sort of advisory role. He'd be excellent for morale around the club.
Do you know what, I actually felt a bit sorry for the lads out there. Masina, Cathcart, Sissoko, Sema, Ngakia, Kayembe, Kabasele etc are just simply not good enough for the Premier League. Effort level was actually there, but what can you do when the opposition is simply far better than you. They struggled to deal with simple long ball hoofs over the top, that's not bad attitude it's just their level. Roy Hodgson is a despicable **** though. Kamara on for a CM and changing to a back 5. Hilarious. I truly hate him.
Perfect opportunity for Morris and Baah wasted. The one potential positive for the day and Roy wanted to preserve a 4-1 defeat and failed.
Just seen the highlights. Oh dear, that was awful. The mistakes were beyond belief. There are fans on here who wish to keep Cathcart, Ngakia and Masina at the club. They have to go and go soon. The feeling that we will struggle in the Championship is growing stronger each day. Have we ever felt any lower as fans? I hear that the die hards, STH's and corporate seat holders actually clapped and cheered that shower of sh*t off the pitch. The players/club have been a disgrace and deserve nothing but our anger.
The only saving grace on this season is that i have been unable to attend most games due to ill health so have managed to see us pick up 4 out of our 8 points. chapeau to thosewho have attended regularly. Soul destroyingly ****.
We actually looked half decent going forward, but as we have been for basically the entirety of our Premier League run since the end of 2015-16, absolutely rancid at the back, on my knees for none of those CBs to feature for us next season
Joao Pedro had his best game, two shots straight at the keeper, should've scored one of them for sure and left with a brace. Poor kid, I don't want to lose him but what a horrible place we are for his development with that shyte show of a midfield behind him. Deserves better. Wesley Fofana was the best player on the pitch though, what an incredible defender he is.
Especially not Adam Masina, who puts a brainless defender in a position that requires the most intelligence? Utter contempt for the job Roy.
Apparently there is interest in him, which isn't surprising as he's shown ability in a rotten team. Since Edwards apparently likes a bigger striker to go with a smaller one, I don't think there's room for both JP and Cucho, so I expect one, if not both to go, but if they do, they leave with our best wishes, and hopefully for stacks of cash!
Maybe, maybe not. The change in formation can be added to the debate. But yes he should of bust a gut to try and recover.
Who knows what is going on in the mind of Edwards. At the very least he must like a challenge. If he's expected to get the club back in the Premier League for another futile season fighting relegation then he doesn't stand a chance. If he's given a chance to stay in the Championship and build a squad of committed players then we could potentially reignite the legacies of GT that have been so badly damaged ...
That was as poor as we’ve seen quality-wise all season, JP apart. The effort was fine but they were way off what is required. The positive start got the crowd going but once hope was crushed the atmosphere was so flat - even the chorus of “We’ve got the ball” was half-hearted.
