Well said, Sir. Modern football is rubbish and modern football fans are Wayne Kerrs. I'll be at Craven Cottage with my rattle ready to throw my flat cap in the air if we score

Absolutely shocking performance. I'm not defending that. I'm hoping, praying, etc, that this is not the start of a second half of the season slump we have seen so often in recent years.

I remember the same sentiments expressed by exactly the same poster after our Kenilworth capitulation when suggesting it wasn't worth fielding a decent side away at Leeds in our league game 3 days later. He was wrong then, he's wrong now. You're right to call that nonsense out.

That's a form of torture surely having to see those misses again.

The only pluses are that I truly feared a relegation battle this season which won’t materialise and I’ve enjoyed the home games way more then previous seasons. Also enjoyed watching Baah, Vata and Chakvetadze

Issues like the quality of our clown in goal, defence, lack of midfield depth and a recognised quality striker are same as same as

I feel for the fans that travel away…

Today would have been a good day for VAR. It would probably have led to the free kick leading to Frey's goal being given against him for a foul on Porteous and possibly a red card against Smith for his cynical barge on Bachmann . You could see on his face his intent to flatten him, not to go for the ball

Agree with some of this but I don’t see how we are in a ‘drastic downward spiral ‘ . We’ve lost 3 in 4 . Just like we did earlier in the season and are sitting in the top 10 , with a squad most agree is not a top ten squad , so I don’t think there is anything particularly drastic about it. What’s the worst that can happen ? We will finish mid table which would still be above most people’s expectations before the season started.

If he’s genuinely hurt (which I don’t think he was) then he’s absolutely right to stay down and get sorted. That said he’s got form and when he doesn’t feel like playing he just walks off the pitch without saying word like he did down at Southampton in the cup a few years ago.

VAR wouldn’t have ruled on the free kick .

With VAR that penalty isn’t given v Portsmouth so swings and roundabouts.

It was surprising that the barge on Bachman didn’t result in a card.

They were clearly targeting him and it worked. That little **** bag left one on him and then when he went to get the ball out of the net for the second goal, another one barged him in the back and knocked him over, leading to Bachmann being booked. Cynical, but why not if the referee allows it and you know the opposition keeper is fragile?

Wow, I have to say that you see things in football that I not only miss, but barely comprehend.

I would play 4-4-2 with Baah and Chak as wingers and a classic big man, little man combination, maybe Raj and Vata, up front. You know, big man knocks it down for the little man to put away.

Also I would do explosion free kicks.

VAR doesn’t get involved in freekicks. And given Van Dijk was able to smash Anthony Gordon the other week without punishment I doubt an official would have deemed the barge on Bachmann (which should have been a yellow card) red card worthy.

Formations are irrelevant if the forwards are heading good chances out for goal kicks or having a swing and a miss at others .

Well look what happened last season. After 27 games we were 8th in the league. Ten games later Ismael was sacked. The writing had been on the wall since Boxing Day but it only really started unravelling in February. It’s the same trend now and if it doesn’t stop TC will be gone in a month or two.

    One more thing.

We need to be quicker. Whilst everything is controlled and deliberate we may not turn over possession as much, but we NEVER take a quick throw, release quickly from the keeper, take a quick attacking free kick or have nay urgency. Results in the opposition being quite comfortable and also sometimes results in us going to sleep, as for the first goal

Although I’d start him (and not on the left), he’s been pretty poor his last few appearances. His cameo against Cardiff was a disgrace. Lost the ball constantly and seemed more intent on diving rather than helping us chase the game.

And never line up ready to defend one either too busy complaining about something or doing our socks up etc .

TC says the 3rd goal was the “worse “

Says it all the first 2 were very poor too - lack of focus and organisation.

Yep. Our game management is really poor . Control what you can control and stop
berating the officials unless........You are trying to slow the game down\stop a quick
    re start etc.
Also , I witnessed our striker smiling apologising and shaking hands during the game with QPR defenders
if he bumped into one of them accidentally whereas that lump who scored the 2cnd let Pollock
know who was the main man . We are a soft touch all over the pitch and other teams know it .
BTW Pollock is one of the few who isn't a soft touch and I'm sure that QPR player is in his little
    black book .

Good man. Don't forget to make a huge tinfoil FA Cup and keep the ticket stub, you may need it if we get a home draw against Liverpool or Arsenal in round four.

    Cold, wet and miserable
Soaking wet by the time I got in the ground
    £12.30 for a pie and a beer
    Ince and Sissoko in midfield
    No Louza
    Conceded early
    Bayo
    Defence all over the place
    Bayo
The ref. Every corner or set piece we had in second half he basically stood there waiting to blow his whistle for a free kick to QPR. At a corner there are probably 20+ fouls going on but every time he penalised us
That muppet with the Mexican hat and rattle although calling him a pedo is probably little unfair
Enough chances to win the game if we had a competent striker and a defence that looked like they'd been on the sauce the previous night
Bayo, how Jebbison didn't come on is astonishing
Unable to see the goal at our end
Still tipping it down as I left
    Happy New Year
