So people should be punished for complaining if they have a different view to you? A list of names publicised so their opposition to the authorities can be known and dealt with?

I personally didn't think it was worth complaining but I certainly have sympathy for those that did because they thought the BBC response was OTT. Dedicating one TV and radio station to memorialising the Duke for 24 hours would have been much more appropriate imo.

 

The post must be tongue in cheek because it is wholly inconsistent with what we know of ZZ’s dislike of “cancel culture” and commitment to the expression of alternative opinions.

Meh. Take it up with the poppy/flag shaggers who make the simple act of loving one's Country a tedious loyalty test of virtue signalling nationalism.

I've no problem with poppy wearing in the slightest, but those that fell did so for the right to live in a country where you don't have to signal your loyalty to the herd. For the right to salute or burn the flag.
