When posting a new thread why do we have to put in a prefix? Especially because the options offered are not always appropriate to what you are saying.
Are you talking about "Tags"? If so, those are optional and you do not have to use them. Generally just write a thread title, then write the body then hit post.
I tried that but it would not let me post my thread until i put in a prefix. See my thread "Will we strengthen" I had to use "Not Happening" as my prefix in order to have my thread accepted, as there was no appropriate prefix to use.
I've editied your thread and got rid of the prefix. I will suggest that generally if your posting in the Transfer section of the forum it's scripted to request a prefix as it implies a topic feeder for the thread created, is it a rumor, sold etc. If you come across the problem when posting threads in general forums (you shouldn't) then please let us know.
IIRC The transfer section was really setup for discusion regarding specific transfers rather then general transfer chat. The intention was to keep gerneral transfer chat to the Transfer Talk & Suggestions sticky thread in that section. Hence the forced prefixes for new threads when new player rumours, details etc emerged. Whether that worked or not is another matter. Given it's a TVOR thread it probably should have been prefixed with "Rubbish"
