Does anyone have any prematch rituals or superstitions? During England games (TV) I change from an away to a home shirt or vice versa if we are not doing well at half time. Daft I know but it seems to work. We tend to get better results if I have a beer of two also or is that because I am just happier?
If it's on the TV and I can't go, (England or Watford), it HAS to be in the same pub. Watford or England never win if I watch a live game at home or in another pub.
If i listen to the match on the radio it has to be on my own cos every time i have listen to it wiv mates we have lost! And i do mean EVERY time - its weird
Try listening to it on your radio with your mates. It may be them putting the mockers on it. edit: Strike that idea we need a win on saturday, go to the pub.
Good one.... i always wear my shirt on match day... like one of the earlier threds but if i am at the game and we are losing i will always send my nephew to get the interval drinks and food... oh no i do that all the time winning or losing.. well i guess thats a ritual right there hey!!
Always wear the home shirt, whether its home or away, and if im going or not. Watch soccer am(now i have to go training so i miss it!) Go into town at about 2 and walk to the ground, programme always from the programme hut, paying by £5 note. Enter turnsitle 31 (my bday) and then go to my seat
