Just a question which I am not asking to be confrontational: what do you believe you are being 'loyal' to as per your moniker of 'Loyalhornet'? Most on here would say I have never been part of the more extreme 'anti-Pozzo' group, but the entire 5h1tshow of mismanagement since the Cup Final has forced me (and many other 'moderates') to become aware of concerns that may actually threaten the future of the club, definitely as we know it. Does expressing those concerns & laying the blame wholly at the door of Gino Pozzo's dysfunctional 'management' style make me any less of a 'loyal Hornet'?
I too was / am in the "moderate" group, but I do not understand why anyone can or wants to defend Pozzo after 4 abysmal years, £220m of debt, 6 managers in 2 years, the most apathetic and unlikeable squad the club has ever had and now manhandling anyone out of the stadium who shows dissent. How can anyone get behind that?
Exactly why I've asked the bloke what he believes he is being 'loyal' to. The way things are at the moment, it certainly is not the club I consider to be the 'real' WFC. It comes to a pass where even such as Petchey and Mad Red Helmet can seem to be not as bad as you once considered them to be.
Even the promotion season didn’t quite have the same feel to it as fans weren’t at games and for half a season the football was very dull until Munoz turned up and got Sarr playing. And the Pozzos haven’t got away with sacking managers like they used to . Certainly the accounts don’t paint a pretty picture no matter how the club might dress it up .
Sorry, should I go back to 2006 when I joined the forum and change my username ? My username is not supposed to be a commentary on my views if other members if this forum. It’s junk st a username that’s all . The way you describe yourself I’m probably similar to you in that I’m not a Pozzo out zealout but obviously have concerns about the way the club has been run over the last few years . I think I’ve generally reflected that in my views on here .
As for most clubs who's parachute payments stop it becomes more financially difficult but I was speaking about the present day
I don't think there are many people on this forum that are not concerned about the state of the club, finances, playing staff, medical team or the ridiculous amount of managers we go through. Some are more vocal than others which is fine as it's what the forum is about. Strange to have a go at your forum moniker though!
Almost every Watford fan at this point is somewhere on a spectrum ranging from Pozzo-questioner to Pozzo-outer. There's a tiny minority (literally fewer than 10 accounts, I'd say) on Twitter that are entrenched in a view that Pozzo can do no wrong, and that tiny minority makes people very, very angry.
I am Pozzo out for all the aforementioned reasons because I truly believe the worst is yet to come if the next season is a carbon cut out of this one e.g. sacked managers, demotivated players, dodgy transfers etc. However, if they genuinely admit their mistakes and start a fresh page in their approach to this club then all is not lost. The seasons under Zola and Joka were some of the most memorable in my life so they are capable of putting something good together, those years weren't a complete fluke. However, I am not convinced Pozzo is willing to change and therefore I predict more of the same nonsense until we end up in League 1.

Utterly inevitable despite months of people saying that we will not be implicated in any official way by the investigations into Bayat. Unbelievable even by the brazen standards of Pozzo that this man was sitting next to him in the director's box less than a week ago and yet more proof that Pozzo is a complete moron along with everything else. I wonder if we'll still be being careful what we wish for when we start next season on negative points?
And yet even in that scenario there would still be people backing Pozzo. You'd think that in that scenario there wouldn't be many left defending him (hopefully). The other question is what has the £12m in agent fees got us? Absolute state of the team.
They will never admit they were wrong. They will announce themselves as somewhere on the spectrum of Mogi critical and ignore the fact that for 2-3 years they have vehemently and aggressively argued that Mogi has been good for us.
£12m for £24m worth of incoming transfers. Might as well have had Terry Tibbs in charge of buying players.

It will be like the Kamara situation, people falling over themselves to rationalise it and say it’s no different to a club overpaying for a player with the benefit of hindsight. All the club need to do is come out and say all Mogi dealings are independently ratified in Italy and that will put the club beyond reproach in some fans eyes.
It’s another one of those loophole ones that I used to love when things were going well and we I am now just completely sick and tired of the repeated circus at our club. Can’t get one normal week. I hold my hands up, I had my cake and ate it too.
My son has been watching the Wrexham thin on Netflix... Can't someone get Elton to round up a couple of showbiz mates, make a big thing in the press about the state of the club, buy out Pozzo and make a fly on the wall documentary about him saving and rebuilding the club and flog it to HBO, Disney+ or someone to recoup some of the investment.

And you can pretend you haven't been stubborn and disparaging of any criticism of Pozzo, our players, our squad and our pieces of business for the past 4 years. You may try to paper over the chasm between your previous posts and your more critical position now, but those whom you've constantly sniped at for holding that position consistently all still remember what you have really said.
