New season, new thread. Couple good free agents around. Gregory Van Der Wiel would be the one I'd love to see. Feghouli Carrick Montolivo
I'd love for us to bring in Nathan Redmond, can't see it happening ( Norwich would command a huuuuge fee ) but would provide us with exactly what we need and that's pace out wide
Think Van Der Wiel will be going to a bigger club than us. I wonder would Liverpool fancy loaning out Lazar Markovic to a PL team next season, might be a good signing.
Markovic is back at pool next season.. Klopp tried to bring him back on january can't see him being loaned out..
Éver Banega from Sevilla. Contracted until 30th June next year. Step in now with a £12 million bid and we could play him alongside Capoue next season.
Miralem Pjanic - sky sports reporting that Roma have to sell players in order not to be fined by the FFP again. Has a release clause of £29.4mil. With the new TV and staying up we can at least bid for him. We're premier league for the second season, time to pull out the big guns and spend stupidly
Messi Ronaldo Suarez Pogba These are all players we should be looking to sign for next season to play alongside Watson and Capoue
Wijnaldum. We need a creative dynamic midfielder. It really was our only shortfall this season. Someone that can provide and maybe reach 7/8 goals a season. Someone that can change a game or make a 0-0, 1-0, or a 1-1, 2-1. Too often we floated into draws that with bit more quality on the field could have been wins.
My list of transfer targets with lots of potential. The least likely names are near the top. Very little chance Breel Embolo Ante Coric Filip Kosti* Little chance Kieran Tierney Franco Vasquez Jetro Willems Son Heung-Min Diego Rolan Andrija Živkovi* Some chance Dennis Praet Bjorn Engels Ryan Sessegnon Serge Aurier Moussa Dembele Pedro Pereira Rob Holding Bobby Wood X Alberth Elis Cyle Larin Teddy Bishop Andreas Pereira Solly March Borthwick Jackson (loan) 3 of those would be great.
Apparently Sarabia is available for around 500k. Wonder if we'll go back for him, or if he was firmly a Quique player.
Jon Toral is out of contract at Arsenal this summer. They exercised a one year extension option last summer but I haven't heard anything since. He's been fantastic for Brentford and Birmingham in the last two seasons, which is impressive considering he's only 21 and in a physical league like the Championship.
I have no idea who any of those foreign chaps are , and so my only recourse is to check their FIFA stats. This chap has 79 rating.
If he wasn't good enough for Man United (remember that protracted transfer?), he won't be good enough for...
