Rusnak apparently qualifies as home grown too, so looks possibly a better shout than the Leicester reject!
Knockers is a good player, and probably the sort of player we need, but he isn't nearly twice as good as FF who is the same sort.
Has Knockaert been successful in the Premier League? As that is the important factor in any player discussion.
Irritating face, irritating player. I suppose he could be a good project, because their could be a good player in their. Personally, I don't see Brighton letting him go on the cheap, so I have doubts about whether he's worth it. With the money coming in next season, there's probably hundreds of other players I'd rather have.
Classic example of one of those players who stands out in the Championship but would get nowhere near a PL team. See Also - Adel Taraabt. Malkay Mackay. Lee Tomlin. Etc.
Hmmm I'll give you Watson from that list. Plus I guess there'll be a batch of 33+ yr olds who passed through on their way down the leagues...plus Ramon Vega, Stephen Glass, Alan Neilson, Stephen Hughes....ok so there are lots....!!
Seriously though Ronnie Rosenthal was pretty successful for Spurs and Liverpool; it's a shame he didn't play for us for more than one season and a bit.
I imagine this is why he couldn't cut it in the PL with Leicester and he left on a free transfer. Obviously the jump up from Championship to PL isn't as easy as some on here would suggest. Still quite young though, only 24
Nothing in it apparently http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2016/04/watford-dismiss-rumours-of-summer-move-for-anthony-knockaert/
And he is a winger anyway which we don't really use ATM.. Be like signing Kerry Dixon in a way as he would be so unpopular!
He can't play on a hot Sunday night in India, so a cold Tuesday night in Stoke doesn't sound promising to me
