I’m pretty sure he is in his final year at Liverpool now. Can’t see them getting a ton of money for him which is probably why nothing has happened. Can imagine Liverpool saying £10-12mil and clubs saying no thanks, he’s free in 6 months. Watch someone sign him for £10mil now.
No doubt it was 2 weeks injury but our medical team advised him to keep running on it which turned it into a 3 month lay off. Ridiculous.
Got to think Clevs has not managed player very well. Should have given him more minutes in league. Pitching a non match fit player into a competitive cup tie asking for trouble Reinforecements urgently required, won't hold my breath
This has nothing to do with Clevs. Loads of players get minutes in cup matches around the country and don’t get injured. It’s just unfortunate
Probably wasn’t the night to be struggling with a sight knock particularly if it’s muscle related Do we know what the injury is ?
If it’s 3 months out it’s likely got nothing to do with fitness levels, muscle injuries do not take that long to heal. 3 months is going to be ligament damage most likely which you can’t really do anything about. Could have played 1 game this season or 25 and wouldn’t make a difference

The issue is more that he stayed on the pitch and tried to run it off which will have made it considerably worse. Whose decision was that? TC, player, physio ??
Remember TDB staying on at Reading after he had clearly done his ACL, which doesn't reflect well on the medical staff…
Ah didn’t realise that . Thought that at the time . Mind you Bachmann , Ngakia , Louza and Andrews all had some sort of strapping on in recent games .
I would imagine that TC is led by the physio and the players on this. Firstly the medical team should be able to decipher if a player is too injured to carry on, worrying that they’ve missed this a couple of times this season. secondly if a player tells physio and TC he’s ok to play on because he’s desperate to impress which I imagine was the case with Dwomoh and the medical team aren’t telling TC that he simply can’t carry on then why would TC tell him he has to come off. people clutching at straws to blame TC for this
Scratching my head at this logic. He's a fringe player given a start in the cup - one of hundreds used in the same way every season by every club in the land.
Sometimes those not playing tend to somehow become better than they are if those in the team are struggling.
