that would be my prefered option, i feel Beckham needs to bring his game back into line and until he does that we should not entertain the idea of him coming back in, the shirt has to be earnt and i dont feel he should get one purely because of who he is and who he plays for.

I dont think so, he was a bit of a legend for england but that was then, this is now, i would hope that maclaren would be a man with a vision and realise the potential that is on display week in week out in the prem. Doing that would be a mistake and for saying that you may as well say why doesnt he give Beckham another go.
