Our First Three Fixtures?

    In ten days we find out who we lose to on the opening day of new season. In hyped anticipation of that event, which three fixtures would you "like" us to have?

    Mine are:

    Leicester A - get it out the way
    Plymouth H - should be a nice first win
    Middlesbrough H - because we always play them early in the season at the Vic.

    EFL fixtures are published on June 22, so a bit longer to wait.

    It's the Premier League clubs who find out their fixtures on June 15.

    Clearly the Premier League brand is massively devalued by the scummers' presence, but putting that to one side I have to say, if you take 'the big 6' out of the equation the Championship looks much better than the EPL this year

    Let's see... Gillingham? No already done that. MK Dons? Nope done that. Almost knocked out at home to Chelthnam Town at home and had to take it to a reply? Nope, done that. Notts County? Nope done that too. Wow we suck at this Cup lately. :p

    The last time we had a decent run in this Cup was in 2008/9 when we made the quarter final before losing at home to Spurs.

    We scored first in the game as well I think. Priskin wasn't it? I don't remember much of it, but I know Marcus Bent got their winner quite late on.

    Sky will probably want Plymouth or Leeds to be their Friday night opener so we’ll get someone like Preston at home first game. Then Sheffield Wednesday away then Millwall at home

    This was my first ever Watford game (or any football match for that matter). The glory hunting day tripper became a season ticket holder of over 10 years off the back of it :D

    A certain Mr Gomes was in goal for Spurs too…

    As the old saying goes, 'you never forget your first...'

    My first game I was 10 years old. What was then Football League Second Divison, we lost 1-3 at home to Cambridge. Blissett got our goal. I remember it fondly due to the fact on the way home I fell down some stairs and smashed up my knee pretty bad, still have a scar to this day. Didn't stop me though, I caught the bug of the atmosphere at the Vic and have never looked back.
