Norn was tired. He had spent the previous nights wracking his brain trying to figure out who the evil menaces were. Villagers were being picked off one by one and he could do nothing to help. Rubbing his weary eyes he decided that he should head off to bed and hope he could attack the problem fresh as a daisy in the morning.

Norn traversed the stairs, each step his legs feeling as though they were full of lead and his eyes threatening to close. After what felt like an eternity he finally reached the top step and let out a sigh of relief knowing that he would soon be in the comforts of his bed. This made him smile. Norn walked to the toilet where he brushed his teeth in the dark before finally retiring to his bedroom. The room was rather large with a built in walk in wardrobe next to the bed and a large flat screen TV opposite. But Norn's pride and joy was what hung over his headboard, a Northern Ireland flag signed by the man, the myth, the legend Craig Cathcart.

Norn climbed into bed and let the exhaustion overtake him. As he was drifting off, he heard the floorboards creek in his room.

He awoke with a startle. Above him he could see two big yellow eyes peering into his own. Before he could let out a scream the wolf had torn the flag down and was now holding it over Norn's face. He kicked and thrashed in the vain hope of breaking free. But it did not work.

    Norn was good.

Otter had spent the long night outside Moog's house and had not encountered a single soul. As the clock struck five he decided he had had enough and called it a night, after all a wolf would be mad to attack this late.

It was a short but lonely walk to Otter's house on the edge of town. The quickest way would be to cut through the cemetery which for a village this size was rather large. Otter passed through the lych gates and felt a chill in the air causing him to wince. Further he ventured into the cemetery, each stop causing more unease. Suddenly he stopped. He could hear a scraping sound.

Looking round he could see an open grave in the twilight with mud being thrown out. Ever curious, Otter crept over to the grave before deciding to peer in. As he did so a huge paw burst from the grave and dragged Otter in.

    Otter was Very Good.

    Day three has begun.

Another terrible evening for team good.

So realistically we have 3 out of the remaining 7 that are evil? Discounting me as the Seer cleared me last week.

Who else can we chalk off for team good? I'll have a read through it all later but if someone can summarise.

Horace was the backup seer and he voted for Sinatra - that means Burnsy is most likely good (named good on day 1 and evil on day 2). At least it confirms that Horace did not name Burnsy as good.

That means that CB is also confirmed GOOD.

So Horace must have been the backup Seer. He really didn't help himself or the rest of us with being so lackadaisical while having an important role.

I'm gonna post my suspicions, because we need to get started and go from there:

    1. Sinatra - I voted for him on friday and based on his play alone, would guess that he's the most likely to be a wolf out of the remaining players
    2. Ashdon - low profile, under the radar. Wolf.
    3. LowerRous - possibly a traitor.

Subs bench - Cthulhu. Maybe traitor instead of LR.

I thought we were pretty confident that you and CB are confirmed Good.

I'm not sure how you can completely discount Burnsy as well though? So far it just seems as if he's been named as both Good and Evil by the Alpha Wolf. Chances are he's not the Alpha Wolf, but isn't there still a slim chance that he's another of the Evil players being mistakenly stitched up by the Alpha?

He would be far from top of my list of suspects I agree, but it's still not impossible.

I am good. I am surprised I am alive today.
    I concur with Moog.
As I have said since day one it is the youngish music people. You can see how smug they all got after the voting was inevitable on day 2.
We have lost the back up seer. I am going for Lower Rous first.
You may all chose to see that as sus but I want the youngster grimeys deaded.

I have viewed wfcSinatra and can confirm he is EVIL

Erm? Firstly, I'm not sure that a Stormzy song featuring Ed Sheeran which according to wiki got to no.1 in the UK charts is grime? Seems like well-known pop. And isn't Sinatra the youngest anyway?

It seems as if you're just deflecting to me now just because moog claimed he thought either you or I were the traitor?

This, combined with norn having voted for you just before getting killed, is putting you right near the top of my list.

Morning all. RIP norn and otter. This could go down as the worst ever game for Team Good - by Day 3 we have lost 2 Seers and a Guardian. I wish Horace, as back up seer, had confirmed the previous seer’s viewing in his message. Now that we know the CB viewing was his, he could have clarified day 1’s viewing too.

I am absolutely sure I am top of your list and you think Im the Traitor. I am not the Traitor.
You know what the song from the first day wolf message was in detail, thanks for confirming, none of the older 40s people here would a have a clue Id wager (Happy, Moog, Myself and Burnsy)
You were using it to communicate with each other. just like you and Ashdon came up with spurious "oh with nothing to go on we will vote for Horace" excuses for your voting yesterday.you waited until the end and then went for what you felt wouldn't cast suspicion, well it did.

Plus why do you think and suggest I am a traitor rather than a wolf. Because psychologically you are giving away that you know you are a wolf and know who the other one is. Don't say its because moog said so. you have shown your hand now wolfy

Because when you put the lyrics in to google then up pops a wikipedia entry for it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Own_It

And you weren't somehow signalling that the Alpha should kill norn yesterday? And you're now trying to stitch me up today.

This is really weird - I did only suggest that I thought you might be traitor "because moog said so"; but now you're really acting like it as well.

Morning all - busy morning in the office today and only just remembered this game was happening!

Have skim read the salient points, and looks like another absolute disaster zone of a day on Friday!

Will have a proper read shortly to catch myself up.

    Morning,

Sorry was on a Zoom call and forgot about the game.

Well, isn't it confirmed that the message naming me as evil is from a Wolf? Surely we don't have a back up, back up Seer?

OK I’ve been reading over Day 2’s posts. In my head, because Horace hadn’t voted for him, I too had decided that the message naming Burnsy as evil was the wolf’s. However, looking at Horace’s posts, this is what he wrote:

“Sorry, I've not had a lot of time to get in and concentrate today as looking after the little one.

    Also tagging isn't working.

I'd hate to lunch burnsy if we think message 1 is good. But feels a bit silly not too to establish the day one messages.

Otherwise I guess it's a random which feels like the wrong thing to do.”

“Sorry. I have been quiet on here today for the reasons I said earlier. No arguements there so it's a fair point to vote for me.

I have no clue who to go for. I said burnsy earlier but no one else is going for them so perhaps that's the wrong option.”

The bits in bold have rung alarm bells. In both these messages, Horace - who we now know was the back up seer - was advocating voting for Burnsy. Is our assumption that the second message was his, wrong?

Do we wait for a message that might not come, pour over more theories or just vote for Burnsy in what seems like a slam dunk?

  31. AshdonWFC

Certainly a bit of a twist to consider. I'm still not sure why an Alpha would have posted first on Day 2 - this could have been Horace trying to steer people to his message, but at that point it was too little, too late. Could he have been trying to pick up the mantle from Nisman on Day 1 with the nursery rhymes?

  32. Burnsy

    Burnsy First Team

I can absolutely assure you that its not a slam dunk!

Its also worth noting that HH24 is casting doubt on me - yet on Day 2, HH24 was speculating about messages that hadn't yet even come and pointing things out - and was rightly called out by Nornironhorn for doing so. Low and behold, Nornironhorn was killed the following night. He correctly stated there was a clue which showed a high probability for who's messages were who's on Day 1...and was then killed, probably for doing so. He relayed that info directly to HH24.

  33. Burnsy

    Burnsy First Team

And I'd also note that the tide was turning clearly against Horace on Day 2 when he appeared and said he had no issues with being lynched due to inactivity - odd ploy really given he knew he was very good. Then mentions me in passing saying 'he said me earlier but perhaps its the wrong option' - hardly a big effort to get me lynched...and he didn't even vote for me himself!

Just seems like the actions of someone who wasn't that invested in the game this time around to me, rather than anything deeper!

    wfcSinatra Predictor Choker 14/15

Hmm, I see where you're coming from.

However, I do think Horace was playing a bit rushed and probably a bit flustered getting told overnight he's now The Seer, I just think he was saying what's on his mind and playing a poor game rather than doing anything tactical.

  35. wfcmoog

    wfcmoog Tinpot

can you quote what you are referring to regarding HH24 regarding speculating about messages that hadn't been posted?
