I changed my holiday plans to go to this but after last night I really wish I hadn't. It's tempting to just escape to Somerset away from the hell that Sunday will likely be instead of going on Monday. Anyone else feeling underwhelmed about the prospect of Sunday?
I haven’t been to a home game since leaving at HT against Palace last season, and I regret buying a ticket to the inevitable sh*Tahoe that will be Sunday afternoon.
I think it is best to forget all about football for a month or two. The optimist in me hopes we only lose by a single goal or maybe 2 at the weekend but until we get a few of the 6 missing defenders back we are going to concede a minimum of 2-3 a game for a while.
No,I can't face it. Anyone with even a small pickled onion for a brain can forsee events. The away fans will travel in greater numbers than tickets. They will run amok in the town and surrounding areas. The stadium and GT statue ( if not boarded up) will be attacked/graffitied / destroyed. The gnome will have them wound up like rabid dogs and it will be hideous. Getting out of the ground will be a risk to life and limb and cars will be vandalised. The rest of Sunday will see scattered showers.
The people sitting at home and pressing thier red button to watch the game will be showing more commitment than our players did in the first half last night. I will be going, but expecting to be very disappointed in what I see
All I want is for us to win 4-3 in the last minute with two sendings off a piece and a mass brawl involving the two benches.
Not going have not got a season ticket but usually attend most games anyhow I went Blackpool but missed the Nowich game and I do not intend on going again and giving my money to the incompetent arseholes running the club.
Without giving any particular credit whatsoever, on the weight of actual evidence this season there is hardly anything too outlandish about suggesting this to genuinely be the case.
I considered that but decided against it. St Lucia here I come! I will still be as nervous as hell when the game is on. There is a whole lot of sh1t in our club at the moment but please god let us win this game
I was never planning on going and I'll watch on tv. When we play badly, conceded a route 1 goal and our heads drop, I'll turn off the tv and do some productive things with my day.
Certainly feels like I'm going because I have to rather than because I want to. A win would be great but mostly hoping there isn't a repeat of the Nick Cruwys incident.
I made the forum name years ago before I become disinterested with the club and fed up with the bollox.
