Another journeyman to add to the collection! Our wage bill is increasing by the day.

****ing hell dyche stop adding to the wage bill needlessly!!! do we need Nosworthy?? i remember seeing him play for Gillingham and few years back and he was truly awful.
I know Taylor is injured but whats wrong with Mariappa and Mirfin with Bennett and Thompson as cover and Hoban at a push.
Sign an attacking midfielder and a winger please if we are able to sign players!!!
Getting so bloody frustrated now, i know Dyche is a decent bloke who probably genuinely cares for the club but i now just want him to **** off.
Give players like Bennett and Thompson, Whichelow and Murray a chance before shipping in more journeymen.
Very worried that we'll look back on this season in years to come as a ****ing disaster.....

Poor man's ****tu, I remember Heidar giving him the run around and scoring two goals when he was at Sheff Utd a couple of seasons back

Rather see Hoban, Bennett or Mirfin play

Ron was that the 3-0? Either way remember he was horrific in that game and there was 1, possibly two defensive.GK mix-ups leading to goals, 1 I remember was comical. No thanks, another journeyman, has-been, this just isn't US, is it? Desperate, pointless signings in a bid to get some results. I'll be shocked if it works, look forward to L1 with hopefully a decent manager and a brilliant young team. COYH.

“The Hornets are hoping to complete the loan signing of experienced centre-half Nyron Nosworthy before this weekend’s game with Peterborough United, the Watford Observer understands.

Sean Dyche is looking to the Sunderland defender following injury to Martin Taylor but the deal is yet to be completed.

The 31-year-old made 32 appearances on loan at Sheffield United last season but has not made a single outing for Sunderland during this campaign.

Nosworthy, who started his career at Gillingham, has been frozen out at Sunderland and has not featured for the Black Cats in 21 months.

In a recent interview with the Sunderland Echo, Nosworthy said: “It’s incredibly disappointing because I love playing football and at the moment it’s just not happening.

“I understand I’m not in the manager’s plans at Sunderland and a loan would be the best idea but it isn’t as easy as it seems to get a new club.

“People might think you just walk out of one and into another but it’s not as simple as that, especially in the current situation in football.”

He continued: “It’s frustrating because I’ve never had this in my career before and so it’s unusual and difficult.

“It’s certainly the biggest challenge of my career, there’s no doubt about that.

“There’s a first time for everything I guess but I just have to take it and deal with it and keep on giving my best because at the end of the day I’m still employed by Sunderland and I have to make sure that I’m as fit as I can be for whatever the club might ask of me.”

He will sign.He will have a howler on saturday. We will lose convincingly and Dyche will be given his P45.

Although Steve Bruce may not want to loan him to us after the farce with Ryan Noble!!

Not a bad move for Nosworthy, tis just a shame Dyche wont play our youngster's. Everyone can joke about Harefield failing but it's Dyche that is truly jeopardising Harefield by not trusting the youngsters....

Loan Bennet to Brentford and then sign Nosworthy from Sunderland? Smacks of desperation to me.

    Nosworthy is crap.

Why have we got Mirfin, surely it's to cover Taylor? Now it looks like Nosworthy is coming in. Not good news for Mirfin. There are some very strange dealings going on. Nosworthy is not a bad player at Championship level, but where is this going? It sounds like Dyche is panicking and desperate to get a result on Saturday, but I'm not sure signing as many journeyman pro's as you can is the answer. We would have signed Weale from Leicester this week as well, until Sven got the tin tack.

Well, at least Dyche has got one thing right by getting a centre half in on loan - one of two areas that needed strengthening. Having said that, going for Nosworthy is yet another appalling choice. I remember the Sheff Utd game a couple of years back when HH and Co. gave him the runaround something chronic. He was truly awful that game. Again, what I have seen of Dale Bennett would suggest he is at least on a par with Nosworthy.

    Yet more wasted money.

By the way, if Keightly returns to Wolves at the end of his loan, expect Dyche (if still in a job), to replace him with Cotterill on loan from Swansea. He has been told by Brendan Rodgers to find a new club. They would prefer a permanent deal but if none is forthcoming, will be happy to send him out on loan until January at least.

Yep, that was 2 seasons ago as well!

I think he joined them the day before the match and had an absolute mare, expect the same to happen Saturday.

I can't see Cotterill wanting to come here as he used to being part of teams that play football.

Crap signing, give our players a chance ffs Dyche. He has got to go win, lose or draw on saturday.

What I can't understand is that DB has gone to Brentford to 'get first team football under his belt', meaning that he needs a few games to get match sharpness before he can be considered here. But we then go and sign a bloke who has played sod all football this year, likely as a replacement for Mirfin - another Dyche signing.

The most disappointing thing about this season is that win, lose or draw I thought Dyche would understand the 'Watford way'. Clearly he doesn't.

We are heading the Shef Utd route from last season, can see it. All these seasoned pro's signed on big wages and yet set to fail.
