Going forward he looked decent at Southampton, and he put in some decent crosses - the best of which Deeney and Ighalo both just looked at and made no effort to get on the end of it. However, he did give the ball away a lot (as did many of the others), and he certainly aint no defender! So I'm a little perplexed by this possible move. I'd keep him, but maybe he fancies a move back to Spain, or see's his chances of first team football rather limited.
I suspect he can see himself not being first choice again & would rather go if that's the case. Can't blame him, football careers are short.

Maybe it's the player that wants to go back to Spain? His performances certainly haven't given any reason to ship him out and would be a real shame, it's been quite enjoyable watching him charge down the wing, he seems to be one of those that rides challenges and wriggles out with the ball more often than not and get actual decent crosses in.
Is there anything new that says he's going? I've not seen anything since before the Saints game. His excellent form since then would suggest he's going nowhere.
"the agreement with the player about to be initialed" It also says that a striker is "imminent" to Watford but that could be a translation error.
Will resend the new article incase you missed it. http://granadacf.ideal.es/noticias/...BT&ns_linkname=Bottom&ns_fee=0&ns_mchannel=TW
The way I read the garbled translation was: If Watford decide to send him somewhere, they will send him to Granada. It didn't seem to imply that a firm commitment had been made.
http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....tarting-team/story-29656053-detail/story.html This would probably imply that he's staying.
Strangely the headline says "Watford boss says Amrabat and Janmaat can play in same starting team" but when you read the quotes in the article he doesn't actually say that. It's encouraging though, I'd hate to see Amrabat shipped out after his performances so far.
A great example to others, who may be sulking or thinking they are hard done by. Do it on the pitch on match day and show improvement in training, then opportunities arise. He was almost certainly heading for the exit door, but he's forced the club to rethink. Good on him I say. He's a bubbly personality and if he nails down the wing back spot he'll be a real asset.
I wonder if he could play LWB . An improvement on Holebas in both ability and attitude . I think Holebas is good but Amrabat has outshine him so far this season
I certainly had a low opinion of him based on last season, but have really enjoyed watching him wide, in the correct role. What a **** QSF was.
Slightly off topic but from the Granada link it would appear we are having better weather then they are !!! Back on topic, very impressed with Nordin this season, be a real shame to lose a player that appears to be head and shoulders above most of the rest of the team.
I very much fancy that when the team click, Holebas will thrive. But I think I said that about Trevor Senior too.
Why is Amrabat suddenly our saviour, exactly? He was decent against Southampton and pretty good against Chelsea. Credit where credit's due, he seems to be adapting well and working hard to stake a place in the team and I'm pleased to see it and hope he keeps it up, but you'd think he's on course to win the Ballon d'Or after a season of consistently phenominal performances the way some are going on about him after two games.
Alternatively, he's been our best player so far and people are keen to see how much further he can develop. But feel free to keep exaggerating the situation like a hysterical little girl.
Pretty sure people are just saying he's played well. Not that he's our saviour, or that he's going to win the Ballon d'Or.
Did Troy eat QSF? Maybe this whole Espanyol thing is just a ruse by the club to feed Troy's stomach. Amrabat better watch out.
