If was there that would bring back alot of memories as that is where I went to school and I grew up there as well.
Dont know anything about the site so this means little to me, but its certainly something to keep an eye on
The feild is huge, but I can't see the local residents liking it as it will increase local traffic and parking will be an absolute knightmare
if its a completely new developement then hopefully they will consider that and put in an underground carpark or a multi story or something, make sense
To be honest can't see them doing that as at the top of the feild you have got the collegue, they have just built a mosque there as well and they was a Junior and infant school at the bottom of the feild. To the right of the feild you have got the A41 and to the Left of the feild there is a wood. There is also the Mothercare warehouse about 200 yards further down. So there is a lot of limitations when you start to think about it.
The feild is a decent size and could hold a stadium but with the surrounding amenities I don't think it would be possible.
i thought that the development near there was to get rid of the ring road or at least do something to it to ease congestion
ahh dam, i go training there. It would be able to hold a stadium there, yes, they could also use some of the woods for more space
Conservation orders would prevent them tearing down trees for a football stadium or anything associated with it!
