Personally, I would of done something similar to this but in a cartoon image. It's a reminder of one of the greatest achievements of the Woman's team and probably represents the unity of the club.
"Watford Women have never had a mascot" I cannot allow Harriet the Hornet erasure from our clubs history. Are we just refusing to speak about her? Was it a messy divorce from Harry?
External Investment ? Maybe they'll stop trying to sell off that part of the club now. Appears that those offered the "unique chance" didn't bother.
I used to have a plushie of them both but they got lost when I moved from Watford. It's almost impossible to purchase any collectables with her image now. It's like the club have scrubbed her existence from the record books.
Next stage in the gradual phase out of Harry. Hardly notice him at home games these days, a long way removed from the good old days of winding up the opposition, doing the Ighalo celebration and being banished to the Lower GT for causing trouble. Best mascot in the country for many years, potentially being replaced by a character which looks like it’s from an ‘adult animated movie’ in which it’s the first victim of an evil invading swearing mantis voiced by Seth Rogen.
The Ivam was/is a key historical contributor and a good bloke. I know he's been reporting on women's football for a while (well before it became 'fashionable') and will be very clued up.
Just teasing all the poor cold pensioners in the crowd with the dream of a boiler & central heating, tantalisingly unaffordable at home.
I mean, she was one of the main cast on one of the bigger shows on television back when that still meant something, which ran for ten years and was created and showrun by one of the bigger showrunners of the past 30 years who is still putting out multiple prestige shows on streamers to this day. After that she joined the main cast of another popular network show that ran for several years, and has worked solidly in tv and film since. She is definitely someone who would count as a 'famous' fan. Even if it would largely be under the name 'Carla from Scrubs'.
Sorry, still never ******* heard of her. I see she has acted with the Muppets, though, so that is to her credit.
