If we sign Mortern I can see Champions League glory on the horizon. If we don’t sign him, we will be effectively relegated by October. Simples.
A friend of mine was telling me last night how he once met a notorious glam-rocker in Cambodia who was drinking his tea with a biscuit… Garibaldi? Yeah. He prefers to be called Paul though and the bouffant is long gone.
A local guide took us on an archaeological tour of ancient boreholes in rural Scotland. Well in Dowd ? I didnt look but the wife assured me he was.
Was marking on a map in Israel where Id like to go for a communal farming experience and some sun bathing. Pin Kibbutz ? No, I'll be wearing sun cream.
Planning to see a Premier League team on the south coast next season. Bournemouth? No they came 6th and lost to Brentford in the playoffs.
Met a transgender lady in the mens toilets in a pub just west of Romford. Eastend ? She went in the cubicle so Im not sure.
Recently got held up at knifepoint in Hampshire. Andover ? Nah, the wife kicked him in the balls , sprayed mace in his face and slit his throat with his own knife. Now I have to take 2 months off work for the court case as apparently he was only a juvenile and the wife's got previous. Looking at a 2 stretch so I'll have to give up work and go on benefits so I can look after the kids, who are traumatised and in therapy which is already costing me an arm and a leg. So we got a crowdfund thing going , but I cant get online because Tyson the dog has eaten the modem because we ate all his food.
I got caught exposing myself in West Sussex. Wick? Yes - the whole thing Littlehampton? No - I've been reliably informed it's a healthy, average size!
Interesting, I’m about to visit Israel and I’ve been telling everyone all about it. Tel Aviv? Yes, I told this lady.
https://www.clubdoria46.it/2021/07/21/calciomercato-sampdoria-thorsby-watford-punto/ Morten Thorsby is destined to leave Sampdoria in this transfer market: Watford is serious for the Norwegian and the deal can be closed While waiting to be able to formalize the arrival of Daniele Faggiano as the new sporting director, Sampdoria is studying the moves for the transfer market. The new manager will have a difficult task ahead of him: to sell for at least 25 million before being able to study any incoming shots. The first player who looks set to leave is Morten Thorsby. The Norwegian, who arrived on a free transfer two summers ago, has grown a lot in the last year both tactically and in personality and has attracted the interests of several teams. With Napoli having left the track after a first approach, Watford is the team closest to his purchase. Sampdoria transfer market, Watford's offer for Thorsby Transfer market Sampdoria, Thorsby increasingly towards Watford. The point Sampdoria asks for at least eight million to deprive themselves of a key element like Thorsby , the pivot of Claudio Ranieri 's game . D'Aversa would also like to count on him, but the possibility of making a full capital gain is too tempting for the Sampdoria balance sheet. Watford offers six million and the feeling, as the Gazzetta dello Sport writes, is that it can close halfway. Seven million for a midfielder who scored three goals in 33 games seems like a few, but in this period it is important to monetize, even accepting slightly lower offers.
I don’t feel particularly excited by this one. Maybe he’s just what we need but having not watched him before I can only go off what others have said and it sounds a bit like he just runs around a lot?
My guess is that this deal is off. We’ve offered £5.1mil, they want £6mil. No chance is Gino agreeing to that. Expect the next 24-48 hours to confirm that this deal isn't happening and we’ve moved on to grandeur/grander targets such as Palumbo.
If we assume the worst and both Hughes and Chalobah leave, what would everyone make of the state of our midfield? Seems like Louza has been signed as a starter, and I can't imagine Thorsby would move here to sit on the bench. Is a midfield three of Louza, Thorsby and Etebo/Clevs/Quina good enough?
I think Thorsby for Hughes and we're just about OK if we're lucky with injuries, but if Chalobah leaves, I'd like to think we'd get someone else in (I don't think he will, we definitely don't seem to be forcing him out like we are with Hughes). We'd be very thin in midfield if they both go, Louza seems versatile, but Quina, Zinckernagel and Cleverley are all more suited to more advanced (or wide) roles and have question marks surrounding how good they are anyway
Quina really needs to step up this year. He won't have a better time to become a starter for us. Except last year, but Ivic used him in some funky positions. Actually, isn't he out of contract next summer as well? In that case he'll be sold either now or in January.
