[REPORTED] Miquel Parera

So from what I have read on the net. Miquel Parera is a goalkeeper at Racing Santander in the Spanish second division valued at about 500k. We have a player on loan at Racing Santander Juergen Elitim who they want to keep but it is going to cost them 500k and it looks like a possible swap deal is on the cards.

He doesn't seem to have any chance of getting a work permit, plus based on the stats reids posted he's crap.

why wouldn’t he get a work permit?

 

Because he plays in Segunda Division and has no international caps etc.

 

According to the GBE Calculator, his case would go to an exceptions panel (with 11 points), so maybe a slim chance.

Would hope we'd look elsewhere for a new goalkeeper anyway though.

 

11 points is 4 less than needed - have any clubs ever managed to get one with so few? I don't know on what grounds it could reasonably be appealed - it seems frivolous, as well as odd for a seemingly not very good player.

 

Gino will just take out another loan, and grease the hands that need to be greased.
