I thought it might be fun to put this here to see who we all felt deserved credit.
I was only able to listen to it on the radio so my vote may be ill informed somewhat!

I felt Foster given his fine performance again in front of goal which as far as i could tell stopped a few good chances from Villa in the first half.

For me, a toss up between MacKay & Foster, but I feel that MacKay desrves it as he has had his critisisors (is that a word ???) this season.

Foster did prove again that he is quality.

Same, but i think Foster just edged it when i was watching MOTD. His saves were actually really good. But Mackay played really well to!
    I voted Foster :)

Thought Mahon led by example and deserves MOTM

I thought Foster was outstanding but Mahon has been getting better with every game, including yesterdays so he get my vote.

    Just a thought.
Would this not be a good idea as a topic after every game?

I have gone for Makay, it was a close call between him and Foster, but I feel that Makay has proved he can compete in the prem and doesn't look like he will give his place back to Demerit.

I wouldn't think he would be at matches if he had a drink problem. Think he's just been unlucky will injury and illness so far this season.

I bet the rumour has come from one of the morons on the official boards?
Sounds like the sort of chit they would come out with.
Though its not unheard of for people to go back onto drink or drugs i dont think this is the case with Clarke.
The official line is chest infection, if however after the 2 weeks (from 12th sept) are up then maybe there is more too it, but i somehow think not.
If he has a chest infection that will keep him out for that long it would explain why he isnt seen at the ground, if it is in any way contageous he wouldnt be allowed in for fear of giving it to the otehr players.
Lets just wait and see before we add weight to the fire of him having a reoccurrance of something he was very open in admitting last time.
