Still laughing at the hapless shatters.

At least the championship is rid of them, their dirty hovel of a ground and their caravans now they have been flushed.

They are really gunning for their CEO and board now. After all the years of crowing “we do things differently here, proper club” turns out they are just as much of a circus as the rest of the clubs in the 92.

Really, the only thing that could have made it any better was if Hull's goal had been 90+6.

But I'll settle for arrogantly thinking you were as good as safe only to completely capitulate on the final day.

Luton fans' souls were removed when they decided to become fans of the club. They have nothing of value as a fair trade - so even they are below the level required to pass through.

Just about sobered up after celebrating their demise. Fantastic YouTube of the fat 40 year old at the game! They've been sh1t all year, a few wins at the end of the season doesn't change that. Fabulous stuff. You gotta love football sometimes

Normally watching scummer videos would fill any normal person with disgust and repulsion, but I've tuned in to several (From the Caravan Park etc) in the wake of their humiliating plummet down into the third.

Who is to blame? That's the question that needs answering. Who? It turns out it's everyone just about.

    1. Gary "three piece" Sweet 'n' Sour
    2. The board
    3. The players. Osama 'ding dong' Bell especially.
    4. The lack of VAR in the championship
    5. The ref at the Portsmouth Hull game for not awarding a clear penalty to Pompey for a handball they saw clearly on their phones.
    6. The Hull players for 'shíthousery' and play acting and time wasting
    7. The Portsmouth players for not trying hard enough
    8. The builders at white powder caught
    9. And more besides...

However, they are sure to storm the third next year. 100%. These premier league players of theirs will tear up the league...

I was wrong about that, for some reason I was reading the GDs of Preston and Stoke as if they were positive - had Hull won and Luton not completely bottled it and got the win many on here were expecting them to get (I wasn’t), then a Derby win would have seen Stoke relegated. With the draw, all three of the others would have had to win to send Derby down.

The club and Herts police must be really annoyed that they cant treat the home fans like **** now that we'll not be playing them next season.

I’m not sure why we should be “red hot” when you consider the amount of dross there could be next season which we’re certainly capable of beating (and have done so even during our extended bad run).

Oxford (who comfortably stayed up but out-performed themselves and some of the smaller clubs get second/third season syndrome), Preston, Hull, Derby, whoever wins the League 1 play-offs (unless it’s Charlton, and don’t rule them out completely - Derby are a bigger club but had to really play out of their skins under Eustace to survive). Don’t rule out a dark horse like QPR, Swansea or Millwall getting sucked in either - I think Stoke will massively improve under Robins.

There have been a number of seasons where we were worried we’d be go down or be in a relegation battle at least and apart from 2004/05 (and even then we did it before the final day, despite needing 50 points) we survived comfortably - what’s going to change this time?

There did seem to be an element of seriousness at least to your post, as you have been saying (or at least implying) yourself that we could well be in trouble next season.

I’m more concerned about how well the scum could do next season, because having deservedly beat Bristol City and Coventry, and drawn with Leeds, and after they should’ve beat Middlesbrough and arguably Blackburn at home, all play-off chasing or promotion-winning teams, they could be too much for most L1 teams at the Kennel. And they’ll likely pick up plenty of wins away based on their record at the teams around them. But it’s likely relegation has really ruined their prospects as it did for Wigan even with their prospective new stadium, and I can’t see them being a force at this level in the near future. And who knows, maybe the manner of their relegation after they looked safe will hit them hard and cost them a fair few points.

Our problem is we need a strong start, as we’ve seen how often the relegation-threatened teams finish the season strongly and how often we tail off. But someone suggested one of the reasons for that is we lose our hunger once we’re safe, so maybe if we still need 50+ points in April, that shouldn’t be an issue! (He says maybe deludedly)

I agree with your analysis (except Derby who I think will improve a lot next year). We need a strong start under the new manager. If we have a bad first half of the year (say bottom 6), it would not be hard to see pessimism and agitation building up among the fanbase, and even more division. On the playing side, it wouldn't be hard to see some players not being too fussed as their contracts are up anyway (Sissoko, Ince, whichever loanees we get in). Selvik will be thinking of cashing in his Udinese chip. And this after we sell Chak and Louza - all it would need would be Baah/Vata to regress or be injured, the new striker signing be underwhelming and we'd be bang in it after a poor start.

Too many unknowns, but the atmosphere at the club, coupled with squad reductions and aging players make us vulnerable I think. Definitely 3 worse, but hmmmm.

The scummers going down was indeed very funny, but a warning sign, if a club fresh from the Prem can go down, a club whose PPs have long since dried up who finished 14th after a horrible second half of the season definitely can. **** it, Cardiff finished top half last season and many fans were predicting them to aim for the play-offs, but then they got rid of their manager and replaced him with Riza who really shouldn’t have been anything more than an interim, and look how they ended up
