Just because you haven’t heard of it, doesn’t mean it’s not the best. As someone who has used it for a while in my line of work - transfermarkt isn’t used because it’s wildly inaccuracy regarding assists and the way they award them. Regarding Cucho, they’ve given him a goal that may be deemed an own goal - the same way transfermarkt give dubious assists in terms of free kicks/penalties won. It’s why if you check the Premier League website and compare it to transfermarkt, the numbers are very different.

 

Perhaps, but it does seem they've got Cucho's record wrong as nowhere else has classified that extra one as his goal, even them in their match reports!

I usually also cross-reference transfermarkt with whoscored, but whoscored doesn't seem to have stats far back enough for La Liga 2.

 

So what you're both saying is that they've scored a similar amount of goals in the second division of Spanish football. For what it's worth and I'm going pretty limited viewing, Cucho looks the player more suited to English football

 

I can't speak for the accuracy of their Segunda data, but their top 5 leagues data is the most comprehensive you can find for free and is provided by Statsbomb, the data provider of choice for most PL teams now.

 

Segunda B is not a great level of football . Worse than championship , especially when deciding if a player was good enough for English top flight .

We’ve supposedly refused Zaragoza permission for Suarez to play in the Segunda/La Liga promotion playoffs as we want him to have a break and be back for the start of pre-season.

Why are they going nuts? They should be thanking us for giving them a player who has given them a shot of promotion.

He needs a break for our season. Far too many clubs dump on Watford, and it's about time we, as a club, did something for ourselves instead of constantly doing favours for other clubs.

Pleased to know at least one of our loanees should finally get a chance here next season.

Hes our player and we need him back for pre-season. It’s not our fault the season was extended beyond the duration of the agreed loan contract

Indeed, they've not got a leg to stand on.

Their play-off dates haven't even confirmed yet and could drag on until as late as August 16th, or even be scrapped altogether, due to a slight resurgence in coronavirus cases in Spain.

 

From what I can translate, their fans are more angry with their President and LaLiga than they are with us. It seems more like a 'what did you expect to happen with a loan player' type opinion.

It's physically impossible for someone who is not a fan of our club to mention us without mentioning Deeney. It's also apparently physically impossible to not assume (very, very wrongly) that he's our best player.
