Another U23 leaves having failed to break through...

But while most head to Hemel or Wealdstone, Lewis Gordon has bagged himself a move to Brentford. So could come back to haunt us I guess...

Hadn’t seen that...obviously. Come on now, we are getting on better, no need to be snarky! There are parts of this forum that not everyone reads or looks at often, be aware of that.

And technically my post is confirmation which that thread doesn’t have. And I’ve posted an official link to be informative too...

Not sure it’s that big a deal. The academy staff assessed him over time and deemed him not good enough hence the release. He was always going to be picked up by another club.

Let’s see what happens over the next few years but I doubt he will be causing us too much in the way of problems.

    It really wasn't that snarky.

Given some of the comments you've thrown around lately it'd be hypocritical of you to criticise snark anyway.

In fact in light of that, I'd considered being proper snarky again in my comment above here, but then thought better of it.

Let’s leave it there. If you’ve been offended by anything I’ve said, I apologise. Have only been teasing as I genuinely don’t have an issue with you apart from when you get needlessly nit-picky over trivial issues! The above being a case in point!

He was really promising at a young age. I am pretty sure he played during the pre-season game at Wimbledon under Silva when he was like 16.

I think he had a pretty serious injury which really hampered his development.

They have a very good strike rate of turning young hopefuls into really good players. I'm sure he's far better off there than stagnating with us, but it is annoying, as there must be a player there

Doubt it. If he was any good he'd have been poached by one of the big boys
