Why go to Chelski to sit on the bench at best, when he can come here and showcase himself with regular games and then possibly get a permanent move to the PL providing he has a successful season.
Because he probably won't sit on the bench - both Chelsea's first-choice wing-backs are out long term and they are integral to the way Tuchel wants them to play. Marcos Alonso is not at the same level, and don't forget also responsible for someone's death, so overall he'd have a decent chance of getting serious minutes.
