I think that kind of proves what a lot of people were saying about him. He’s only interested in performing when it’s against the better players. He clearly couldn’t be arsed in the championship when it was against inferior players, and in hindsight considering he has now won a European trophy who can blame him.
On another note I read that for the first time in History there are no Real Madrid players on the Spain squad? Incredible. Oh and Zidane has left and their stadium is on fire.
