I'm not sure how I'm going to get through this if we're not allowed to take horse tranquiliser on the bus

Surely if you take your horse then no one can complain?

The last time I took the supporters coach it smelt like someone had brought a horse on board

Genuinely hilarious that the clubs defence is ‘we have always charged for away travel so why should this be any different?’

Oh I don’t know?! Maybe because you’re forcing fans to take it rather than it being optional? And I’m fairly certain £15 a head more than covers the overheads of such a short journey so they are clearly profiting.

And then defending themselves further by saying they lose money on providing travel to other away games to the the tune of thousands of pounds - when they spunk money up the wall on sub-standard players from their agent mate and happily extend contracts of players totally undeserving of them, are they really looking for gratitude?

I see all the responses in here saying the clubs attitude towards the fans astounds them - it’s gone beyond that now. It’s totally expected and has become the norm.

If your horse is prone to get over-excited, best not to bring it in the first place, you foal ! Or perhaps you were just jockeying ?
Also saves you £15, or maybe £30 depending on size?

I agree that the red carpet treatment for the home game should have been replicated for 1st April but the train strike stopped that. At their home game v Millwall the other week there were 200 police (we know there was history nearly 40 years ago when it was at least double the attendance and more than 1k away fans allowed) and they escorted the away fans to the station and kettled many home home fans to allow this.

Once again however our club has scored an own goal in PR with us-for those fans who were bothered about potential issues then they could have got the normal away coach and paid the £15-the police/club could then have laid on the same arrangements as Millwall had.

Thinking this through and blaming RMT for the mandatory coach requirement and then waiving the £15,000 they will generate as a goodwill gesture would have been better received IMHO

If Troy was still with us he would of got the player's to cover the cost of the coaches.
Sadly our current squad don't give a **** about earning their money let alone the supporters.

We're charging players to eat at the ground, do you honestly think we have the money to cover coaches for the fans?

So we can watch this on Hive Live because it’s outside the 3pm Saturday window?

Only if you drive to the ground, pay £15, and then drive home again. Same as the club have always done for Luton away matches.
