I expect the club are just trying to make sure as few fans as possible get to see this massacre so that in future years we can all just forget it ever happened. They are only thinking of us.

 

There are loads of places to park for free within 20 mins walk of Vicarage Road, especially on a non-matchday.

 

Got my tickets. I'm not that fussed by the coach part except the price but I totally understand the frustrations

 

If I had chosen the word 'ghetto', I would use it in the singular and I definitely wouldn't have put the apostrophe in its plural form.

 

Anyone know if they've sold out or almost sold out already?

Seems hard to believe that we would have over 1000 fans who've done over 60 awaydays since 2014, so hopefully there's some hope for us cat Aers.

 

About 250 odd left when I last looked.

 

Just checked the ticket page again and currently stands at 245 available

 

On that basis only one extra ticket has been sold in the last two hours.........there will probably be a couple of hundred for Cat A tomorrow.

 

Mrs Willis and I have been Cat A+ for years, but we’re not going to this for a number of reasons. I’m sure we’re not the only ones.

I got one. Not entirely sure why but here we are.

 

Am almost disappointed that I got a ticket - was secretly hoping it would be sold out when I logged on at 12 today so I could say at least I tried, but ended up with 2 tickets. Glutton for punishment!

Unlucky! I logged on just as the clock ticked over to 12.01. It said there was 1 ticket left but when I went to add it to my basket I was saved by the 'sold out' banner. Phew.

 

In layman’s terms……..suck it up mugs, we don’t give a sh1t.

 

One of the comments stated we all had to get coaches in the Boothroyd season with few complaints.

No idea what they are talking about as I travelled by train to the game and just walked to and from the ground.

 

It's nonsense - we have never been forced to take club transport to a derby match at LTFC.

I think this plan would have been used two years ago if attendance had been allowed (I am sure I remember it being mentioned somewhere).

So they have already managed to **** off the players & staff (food charges), fans (L tickets) and authorities (Kamara) this week. No need to come into the office today, looks like the week’s work is done.

Well I have an answer for them, after 60 years supporting the club, I will not be renewing my season ticket.
I have had enough of this club's attitude towards it's supporters.

 

Yep, barefaced lies. We drove, parked, walked to the stadium. Think there was less trouble that day then when we bumped into the Luton fans at the services on the way to Everton.

It's still the double standards that rankles most. They could travel to the home game however they wished, were allowed to drink in town before the game, a huge number of them walked up Vicarage Road together from the Oddfellows, shouting abuse at families going to the game, then after the game they were allowed to take the direct route back into town to have some more drinks whilst we were all directed in a big loop.

So Watford fans were inconvenienced at the home game and are now going to be charged money by the club to be inconvenienced at the away game. Meanwhile, Luton fans can do whatever they want at both games, despite having a far worse reputation for trouble.
