Baah is the best right sided winger we've had in yonks. Don't play him up front though. Play someone to benefit from his runs.
He seems to be able to get in behind tight defences too, which is not the easiest thing to do, his acceleration is something else
I thought Asprilla was excellent on his day. Baah seems to be delivering from that right wing every single game. I don't like being too reactionary but he's every bit more exciting than Sarr or Asprilla were.
There’s no faff with Baah, he’s very direct as he just drives at his man and gets a ball across, exactly what we all hoped Sarr would be. I liked Asprilla, but he was inconsistent with his end product, Baah is doing a fine job in that regard at the moment
Cleverly talks about keeping a watchful eye on baah's work load,he reminds me of asprilla in the fact he inpacts games when he comes on ,need to keep him for the second half when opposing players are knackered, again last night like asprilla so ineffective starting matches
Baah did what wingers used to do - get down the line and cross it in but most seem afraid to do that .
Imagine having <insert beautiful celebrity's name here> lying naked in your bed begging to be pronged, but choosing to sausage Deborah Meaden on your Ikea sofa instead.
There’s a beautiful simplicity to his game, what’s impressed me most about him apart from the obvious end product is that he isn’t deterred by low blocks like a lot of quick wingers are, he can take on his man and get a ball in from anywhere
Extremely stupid thing to do. Sissoko got a 3 match ban after the Blackburn game last month when the officials missed his similar “head -butt” during that match
Did I miss something he did ? “I would be amazed if your German thug is selected to play in the return fixture at Fratton Park” Saw this sort comment and seems to be the sort of theme to the general tone of Portsmouth fans towards Baah. I mean yes probably was a bit daft and childish but he did a dance about 20 yards from them - not assaulted anyone or verbally abused a fan . The reaction seems a tad OTT and actually more threatening tbh .
Looked like hamstring and he seemed to indicate it had pinged. If so, may not see him for a couple of months
I think it was his quad that popped. He sat not far from me in the second half - I saw a couple of people go and speak to him and they all walked away with "that doesn't sound good" expressions on their faces.
Yup. Thigh torn. Out for a few weeks at least: https://www.watfordfc.com/news/2025/january/23/injury-update-tc-on-baah-ebosele-louza-keben/
He was bantering with Portsmouth fans on X the other day saying he expected to be back to play at their place. And that's 21 April...
Was always going to happen with his level of intensity. No chance he will be available for the scum game.
I always find it a bit odd him being referred to as 'German', because yes, he was born in Germany, but his parents are not German, and he was raised entirely in the UK, whilst his national youth adventures have taken place equally under the English and German banners (one cap each...). Obviously, to add to that, he presents as a character entirely as an Englishman. So, as I said, I always find it oddly jarring when he's so confidently presented as 'German'. But, hey. There will be those who disagree.
