But are they classing JP as a central option? I was meaning Deeney, Gray, Perica

 

I think Joao Pedro will be used as a striker, yeah. He’s flexible as we know but we have added out wide. I think he will be used centrally this season.

 

I don't think Pedro has the pace to be a wide player. I know not all wide players are quick but it certainly helps. I just hope he gets a decent amount of game time this season

 

Even with the reinforcements JP is probably still our 2nd best striker after King. He definitely should get game time.

Beyond that there is quite a bit of flexibility amongst our forward options in that JP, King, Cucho, Dennis, Zinc, Sema and Sarr can all play in a number of positions in the front 4.

I thought maybe you would have made your mind up from the first video from training before even a pre season game .

 

Juts watched the highlights vid.

He looks exactly the type of striker we need . Someone who occupies the centre of the box and six yard area and can finish.

How many times in last few years have we put great balls into the box but with no one in the centre to put it away.

I can see King getting on the end of Ken, Kiko and Sarrs cutbacks as a good supply of goals .

 

Hopefully Ken won't be on the pitch much.

Sadly, it’ll be 85 minutes of watching the players you name stick the ball in the box, whole Deeney watches on from around the halfway line.

King will get 5 minutes at the end, before Troy tells the watching world that we just need to get in up to the big man quicker.

 

Yeah but Deeney is looking pretty fit this summer etc
