I doubt that 010–2011 F.C. Halifax Town 37 (26) 2011–2012 Fleetwood Town 36 (31) 2012– Leicester City 205 (82)
Seems to be doing well up norf https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...ws/jerome-sinclair-watch-very-bright-14966183
Wish the guy well up there, not sure if he was badly advised or had over paid from a young age footballer syndrome when he pushed for a move away from Liverpool but it certainly doesn't seem to be working out for him. I don't actually think he's done that badly in the odd game I have seen him but as he doesn't make the bench most of the time it shows what those who see him every day think so can't argue with that. Hopefully with some game time he'll either live up to some of the early promise or at least get himself in a position where somebody will part with some actual money to take him off our hands.
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/08/0...jerome-sinclair-wont-start-for-sunderland-at/ I wonder if he is now experiencing deja vu? “Fitness-wise, they [Baldwin and O’Nien] are OK. They have come from other clubs so they have been involved in pre-season, which is different to a free agent who might be catching up fitness-wise. “The exception is Jerome who is still playing catch-up because he was really on the periphery at Watford, but the other two lads would have been part of what their clubs were trying to do for the start of the season.” Which sounds to me like a pretty piss-poor excuse, given that he was involved in our pre-season training.
They only have three other strikers in their squad - two who have yet to play a game for them, and one who has made 17 appearances in two seasons. So I'm not too sure that they qualify as 'established' players.
Sinclair has probably gone there with a Billy Big ******** attitude and their manager is just trying to bring him down to earth.
To be fair, he's played about 400 minutes of competitive football in 2 years and had to deal with our medical/fitness staff - the fact he's able to actually be involved is a miracle in it's self.
Or a suggestion that our preseason programme is ****, and just leads to injuries and not fit players?
This is why I'd bring back Bepe Sannino for the summer only each year. When those players started the 14/15 season I'd never seen our squad so fit and well toned and that was what carried us through the season long after Bepe was gone.
Just missed an absolute sitter from 2yds our in the 85th minute to give Sunderland the lead. Pozzo Model.
And now subbed off injured! Haha, the injury-curse strikes even once you’ve left - it’s like a plague.
Beppe did volunteer in a hospital. A good man. Oddly, the auto text function interpreted ‘volunteer’ as ‘Vydra’. The machine knows.
Apparently he played really well despite the miss. Hopefully can bounce back from his injury relatively quickly. I know a lot of Sunderland fans are absolutely chuffed to bits that they managed to sign him.
Out for 4-6 weeks with a hamstring strain. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo.../double-injury-blow-sunderland-ahead-15004295 Excellent start to his loan.
Loaned out to VVV Venlo in Holland. They are quite excited about him - "coming soon" trailers on social media and everything. They have medically examined him and he is being rented for a year. If he's not going to make an impact act there, he might as well forget it. They're a well run club, played some good football at tines. Went to watch them last season and am going back in Feb. Might be a tough season as their manager of 5 years has just left and the new one is a moody journeyman who has left fans underwhelmed.
How bloody long is his contract?! Gino and Co love a 5yr contract - this an example of why they can’t always be seen as a way of just protecting your investment.
