We have been linked with a move for Jerome Sinclair. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3396026/Liverpool-youngster-Jerome-Sinclair-wanted-Watford-Manchester-City-contract-set-expire-summer.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 He has recently switched agents to Aidy Ward (Raheem Sterlings agent) so I suspect that the Man City link is likely. He is however the type of Signing a lot f us would like to see from the Pozzo regime. Would be decent so long as he doesn't have a big opinion of himself. He's Birmingham born so maybe Troy can convince him to move to us...
He's got more of a chance of breaking into our starting XI than City's so it could come down to, if he wants to play football, or wants a fat pay packet and splinters in his arse.
Why do City still bother trying to develop young British players? It never works out well. In fact they usually end up worse than when they started.
We want to sign him this month apparently http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...news-Jerome-Sinclair-targeted-by-Watford.html
Wobby says "No we don't" http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/14205849.Watford_are_not_attempting_to_sign_Liverpool_striker_Sinclair/
Seen a lot of tweets about it Mentioned in the express too http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/635860/Liverpool-Watford-Jerome-Sinclair-transfer-news-gossip
I just hope that our only wing signing isn't going to be a 19 year-old with 3 first team games under his belt...
Would he be allowed to play for us as we would technically be the third team to hold his relegation in a season?
The Spectrum was good but the C5 was a disaster and he's not done anything of note recently. We also have our ginger quota so it's a no from me.
You'd assume Sinclair is a better player than Jakubiak but it'd be interesting to see how much better considering Jakubiak's form this season and they're the same age.
WD Sport just published this: "The 19-year old was on loan at Wigan last season for three months, featuring once as a sub in the Lactic's 2-0 defeat against Watford." I think they're gonna milk this one for all its worth.
