Ed of Sunday Service fame (who seems pretty ITK, he was the first to mention we were in for him, and the first to mention the deal had broken down) Absolutely clear as mud! Well we may not have the JP money, but we do have the Kamara money...
Bournemouth are a historically lower league team with a 10k seater stadium who essentially overstretched themselves to get to the Prem and stay for 5 years in the first place, and spent a fair bit last season in the summer and in January, is it any surprise they aren't spending much? He could barely get them over the line with a squad far superior to everyone bar Fulham in the Championship, unfortunately for him he can't play the Premier League on easy mode...
All Bournemouth players sound like you’d read about their tragic death whilst fighting for Britain in WW2
Odd one this. Was pretty widely reported that we wanted him, then when it broke down it was supposedly because we were going to use the JP money to get someone better. Could obviously all be nonsense. Odd that we never went back in for him or an alternative. Unless he was an alternative to Hause, which raises its own concerns.
Maybe we were going to get him if one of Sarr and JP went, someone better if both left, and nobody now that it looks like both are staying? Or maybe I'm just overthinking things and the Pozzos are doing it all off the cuff?
