Yes, and we reportedly adjusted the deal slightly too. Initially it was €2.5m + €10m add-ons, but after €3m of those had already been triggered, we agreed to pay €9m instead of waiting for the full €10m to be reached (I assume we were confident it would be). That takes the total outlay to €11.5m.
I don’t believe that is included. We had £66m of additions in the period. Instalments are dealt with in creditors/cash balances. So either Sarr was £50m or we paid a lot more than £7m for Pussetto or JP/Dawson a lot higher than reported.
I mean, I've seen the Pussetto fee being listed as £15m... Was under the impression that the initial Sarr fee was anywhere from £27-35m, rising to a possible £40m
I think Sarr is in a tricky spot in regards to a move. It was a bug transfer fee for anyone really apart from the top (5?) clubs in the world and since then the economy has literally gone to ****. He’s not worth loads more than we paid for him because he’s still so raw but because he’s so important to us, we’d want to make a big profit. I’d be very surprised if anyone came in for him this window. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sky Sports reporting Liverpool interested for Bowen from West Ham. Adapted really well to the PL meaning Sarr will be with us as expected
Sorry! Hoping this is a good sign as both play on the right. Sarr is important for our survival. Been impressed with a Bowen since joining West Ham, great work rate and very creative.
Technically if the ball isn't on the ground it's always "before it hits the ground" unless you're playing in zero gravity or kicked it hard & fast enough for it to reach orbit. If the ball bounces up is it still considered a volley? Would "kicking the ball, whist it is in the air, when passed to, before it the ball has bounced" be a more complete answer.
Iiiiin 7 - she'll be pleased as <insert related pun> with this <insert labour-saving kitchen appliance as that's all that women craved in the 1980s>
I saw a re-run of Bruce's Price is Right the other day, and a woman won a chair, a car, set of bedroom furniture, £1000 in cash for getting exactly 100 on the spinning wheel, a 3 week holiday in the sun with £500 spending money, and another car, totalling ~£32k at the time. Meanwhile, in the Central studio, Jim is counting out £90 in cash to Trevor and Bridget from Stourbridge while they clutch their tankards and saying "it was well worth you coming, give them a nice round of applause..."
One of the most pitiful sights known to humanity is the winning couple on Bullseye, clutching their tankards (or of course a goblet for the lady) and darts and £237 telling Jim "we don't think the gamble is worth it". So that the runners up then have a chance to go for the star prize, but they too don't think it's worth gambling their £174. So it's left to Terry and Gwen who came last to have a go.
Yes being on the show, helped convict him, turned out his appearance at the time matched thr description put out of the suspect.
