Pretty shocking, but thankfully the Government sponsored report, published only this March, found no evidence of institutional racism in the UK. Which was nice.
Strange that, especially given that the police and the BBC have been prosecuted for illegal race quota employment policies, and continue to attempt to work around the law in order to implement their racism, where it exists, into every day life. Institutional racism still exists, and people still think it is OK to ignore it. Whilst any person is intentionally and officially less favoured in any aspect of employment because of the colour of their skin, it must be said that institutional racism is something we are still living with. There are plenty of opportunities and ways to achieve the goals that the police and BBC wish to address, but unfortunately racism is the easiest and cheapest.
