Why were the FA even appealing? Do they really just hate us?

 

Be prepared for draconian penalties for any offence they actually manage to prove.

 

I enjoyed reading the summaries. Is it standard procedure to appeal a case like this? I understand if the FA want to be seen as taking offensive behaviour like that very seriously, hence the appeal. But the appeal was simply based on whether a case like this should require irrefutable evidence, given that the 6 game ban indicates the seriousness of the allegations.

The Commission noted that Manning instigated the off the ball incident, showed no revulsion at the alleged gob on his shoulder, but immediately ran off to the ref to try and get Louza sent off. The Swansea no. 6 nearby would also have seen the gob if it had happened, but showed no reaction. The ref was told about the gob on his shirt but didn’t confirm whether he’d seen actual gob on his shirt. No video footage provided shows Imran gobbing. Imran Louza consistently denies gobbing.

The conclusion is that Ryan Manning is a gobby little t1t.

 

Spare a thought for this young man, did anyone think he'd be missing out on THIS when he got injured at Millwall?

 

Must be mixed emotions for the lad tonight. Should be looking forward to a world cup semi final if it weren't for a breaking his leg playing for us against Millwall.

I'd hate us with a passion if I were him.

Exactly, albeit doubt he'll be doing any ball work yet. But looks like him, JP, Sema and Davis all running again.

New release boots on Louza and JP so must be recent. Although they do appear to be separate from the main session

 

Not sure if this photo has been mirrored, but he seems to have lost the other leg.

 

No expert on any of these matters but hopefully this is the group he said would be back for Reading.

Actually just noticed there are balls in that picture too, good sign.

 

Our full strength XI would be excellent but I doubt we'll see it. There will no doubt be four different injured players before these four return.

 

Hopefully the guy leading their training session is an expert on strengthening hamstrings!

 

Certainly for his wife if they wants more kids, but I wouldn’t put it past our medical department to have lopped them off in error while trying to operate on his leg, so it’s reassuring none the less.

Anyone thinking he will be anywhere near as good as he was before this injury is living in dreamland.

Why? Is the injury he’s had one that should have long term impact ?

 

Best midfielder in the league, maybe the best player overall. Will be huge for us during the run in.
