Just turned up after knee surgery and showed everyone how easy it is to play football. Bilic is going to love him.
Reminds me last time we got promoted, when Hughes came back from injury and we looked a much better side. Will be really important to keep him fit
The parallels are eerie (although Louza thankfully didn't suffer any setbacks, and has signed a contract extension!)
Agreed. I felt from the way Louza played and spoke last season that he'd have been made captain. Gets stuck in, but most importantly the most calming influence in our squad by a country mile.
Goodness, wasn’t it lovely to see a central midfielder comfortable on the ball, constantly moving to find space and already having a good idea where he’d go with it before even receiving a pass.? He looked levels above anybody else on the pitch, and that’s having been injured for months. Some of his touches under pressure and little balls around the corners did so much to keep us moving up the pitch. Impressive.
Oh dear . Louza charged by the FA. https://mobile.twitter.com/androofrench/status/1579852465188790279 If found guilty will deserve the punishment. Disguising act .
Maybe it will be 3/4 game ban with some carried over for another occasion. I guess they see is a double red card offence?
The bad news is that we stand to lose one of the best midfielders in the division, but at least we won't be deprived of a quality penalty taker!
Think that's when he either accepts or contests the charge. Presume he's contested it and now they have to do a bit more to schedule the hearing, gather further evidence etc.
The hearing is before the Millwall game. So I guess an appeal might see him available for that game if he is guilty.
Bilic seems to think there's no evidence of it, and Louza has denied it. The FA never rule in a players favour in these situations, so I reckon he'll get a 4 game ban on the basis he might have spat on the lad
How long does the appeal process last? Gawd we need him for next weekend, **** it, I don't care if he spits on whatever cavemen are on their team!
Our season ended when it began with Pozzo and Duxberry still running the show. As will every season until they're gone.
Even if you’re not injury prone before you join Watford as is often the case, we’ll turn you injury prone. Just ******* fantastic stuff really.
