I'd buy Kalu and Kayembe and just keep them round the house.

 

I’d have a few enemies rubbed out and then I’d go and live in a massive house miles from anywhere.

 

I'd buy the forum.

 

Would need to be a big lottery win as you’d have to cover Mogi’s agent fee too.

I’d buy L**** and just close it down.

 

Funnily enough I've just met a Dutch fella who won 2.1m€ last year. It seems like he's trying to drink the lot of it.

 

He was actually pis*ed and won $21 last year!

 

Tell my close friends and family, they would receive a share of the left overs.

First major purchase? A price of land to have a house for myself and a house for my folks both built to my design on.

 

Wouldn’t it effectively be telling everyone else you know by suddenly having the funds to buy land and build two dream houses?

 

I'd tell nobody but my closest friends, sort them out financially, then buy a few places around the World where I'd continually travel between. One huge holiday a year for closest friends and family. A trust fund for the kids and their future families. I'd give a lot away as well.

 

I’d keep it schtum apart from my family and very close, trusted friends. I’d buy my dads house for him. I’d pay off mine and buy a couple of other properties, and take the Mrs on a nice holiday.

I’d probably invest a little bit in my local non league team for a bit of fun.

 

It wouldn't surprise me.

 

I have won the lottery many, many times. I usually re-invest some of my winnings in the following week's ticket and just enjoy the remaining couple of quid. I've never let it change my life.

 

Wouldn't change me at all, I'd still be a c u n t. But a c u n t with a mansion.

 

Depends how much I won. If you're young, a million really isn't large enough to significantly change your behaviour. 100m is more than anyone ever needs.

Assuming around 10m, I'd probably spend about a quarter to a half on property (the mortgage and a ski chalet being my priorities) and a quarter to charity and closest friends and family . I'd only tell them that I won, but I probably would only tell immediate family exactly how much.

Final quarter-half I'd either have invested, or start a small passion-project business/ charity.

 

I'd do charitable things and ensure that everyone knows it was me who donated. Fairly nominal amounts, not enough to make any material difference, but enough to warrant one of those giant cheques. Instagram followers are better than real friends anyway.

Follow up of my new Dutch mate. Was smashed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That bad Sunday that he attempted to pull a large screen TV from the wall while people were watching F1. Banned Monday but is currently slumped over the table at the same bar right now. Obviously the owner forgot how much he spends

 

Depends how much, if it was a few million I’d be loath to buy flats, but maybe a big house that only rich people could afford to rent instead to provide a passive income and a store for the wealth. The key would be not to have to work, but also to have a daily purpose, I’d want something to keep me busy on daily basis so that I could still appreciate the good things.

 

You mean a daily purpose other than posting on here ?

 

I have the art of doing little and looking extremely busy down to a T.
