As MPs are Public Sector workers, shouldn't other Public Sector workers, many of whom were key workers who weren't furloughed and worked throughout the pandemic, also be given a 28% pay rise on their 2010 salaries to bring some sort of parity. I lived for a while in the 'Post Grad House' (Spence Court on London Road) in Canterbury. Midway down London Road is "The Eight Bells" (one of the most beautiful pubs I've drunk, and been drunk, in) and at the end of the road is St Dunstain's where More's head was finally interred. Following a very, very long night (God bless Mo, the landlady) in the '8' with a couple of my 'theatrical' housemates and their friends we were discussing that film and Bolt's play and they decided to do a version of the play in St Dunstain's to commemorate of 460th anniversary of his execution. TBTH it wasn't very good (a number of courtroom scenes) but it was certainly atmospheric knowing that his head was a few metres away from where I was sitting.
