How Many Goals With Rajovic Get This Season?

I did this last season and there was quite a varied result in the poll.

For my money I am not sure there are any more clinical poachers in the championship at the moment. He has won us three points today with a finish that I don’t think any of our other players would have managed.

When asked to do anything further out than the penalty spot, his limitations are really clear. He is not a false 9, definitely not a complete forward and his press is pretty shocking too.

However, he has that knack of being in the right place at the right time, and you can’t teach that. It’s instinctive.

Overall if he scores 10 goals of the bench and wins us 15 more points by doing so then he is more than worth his space in the squad IMO.

 

Was today his first headed goal for us?

 

Think he scored a couple last year? I seem to remember one against Birmingham at home

 

Rajovic reminds me a bit of Haaland but with none of his weaknesses. It's hard to see him scoring less than a goal a game this season.

 

Last season he scored against Brum (a magnificent one from behind him) Millwall (bang on his head) and Norwich (well anticipated after a deflected cross) with his head

 

Unlikely to get the minutes. Cleverly wants a more mobile striker. But could be useful from the bench and backup to whoever we bring in on loan. Can see his goals to minutes ratio being impressive.

I've only seen him play for 5 minutes and the guy scored. He's a goal machine. Best player we've got IMO based on the one game I saw last season.

I don't remember much about Alf Inge Haaland, but I think you're right.

 

I've said 10 to 15, but if he gets regular games it could be more!!!

He'll have 20 by Xmas.

 

He won't be a first choice starter not for a while at least, so will chip in a a super sub.

Outside the box his technique is poor, but his reading of the game, anticipation and ability to be in the right place, very good.

The number of times that he drops into the hole to receive the ball, but makes poor decisions or poor execution of his pass, tells you he knows where to be, when to drop, when to stay is really good. The technical side they can work on.

I suspect he'll get better as the season goes on, but a lot will depend on how we aew doing as a team. Confidence is up then we create more chances, confidence low then you try to walk the ball into the back of the net.

Last year from his tap ins, 7 of his goals won us 11w points. So not goals where we obviously lost or we were winning before he scored an extra goal (2-1 and got a 3rd to make it 3-1) We would have been relegated without those points.

He'll find it harder this year, but still chip in with a decent 8 or 9

 

You’re right, and by coincidence he also scored a header against Millwall too..also in the 90th minute in the 2-2 draw at the Vic!

His goal v Norwich was also a header.

 

He was the victim of attempted murder by Roy Keane.

 

He's the best player at the club.

 

If I'm remembering correctly, I think his leveller against Chesterfield was a header also.
