Struggling again this season, but only 2 points from safety. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/tables I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned their win the other night over Real Betis. Hopefully winning this Andalucian derby will kickstart their remainder of the season and help guide them to safety. http://www.granadacf.es/en/new/gallery-granada-cf-4-1-real-betis
They've got Andreas Pereira on loan from United who looks like a bit of a star. Our own Uche Agbo too looks decent when I've seen him, and he's very young.
Half their team are loanees, 14 out the 25 players listed as their first team on transfermarkt are loans, it's not roight!
Their starting 11 the other day was also 11 different nationalities, I hope the Spanish equivalent of Holloway is calling them out whenever possible.
It is hideous enough to have one Holloway on the planet, let alone two! They looked quite sprightly but their away form needs to buck its ideas up I think?
I don't think they'll escape this season, their form in general is terrible. Won 3 games out of 23. Scored less than a goal per game on average whilst conceding over 2 goals per game.
Believe I mean it too, unlike the competition they've strengthened in the window. Dunno but it might be something to do with their Pozzo connections
Mildly confused but then that's normal for me for a Monday and I could never get the hang of Thursdays either!
http://globalanimalwelfare.org/top-10-animal-cruelty-traditions-in-spain/ Beware number 5 Tony. Also, is number 8 not just Angry Birds.
Granada are down. Kieran Richardson and Nigel Reo Coker on trial with them (seriously) and Tony Adams gave this fascinating insight into football management earlier today: https://twitter.com/paddypower/status/852083101018861568
To be honest, this would have been a good year for Penaranda to get some experience. He would without a doubt get some game time in a team struggling to stay up in La Liga and it would give us insight to how he actually plays as of now considering he barely has any minutes recorded at Malaga...
That smile he does after making a point makes him look unhinged. Bringing in Richardson and Reo Coker confirms it. Feel sorry for Granada, and it's a bit of a warning as to what could happen to us if the Pozzos ever sell out to some shadowy Chinese conglomerate...
I'm just sad as it essentially confirms the English coaching/manager stereotype to everyone abroad and further ruins our (aka hopeful British coaches) chances abroad in the future.
Judging by that interview he only just speaks basic English so (I'm paraphrasing) all he needs to learn in Spanish is "Guys", "keep it out" when defending "stick it in" when attacking and although he didn't mention it I think "get it in the mixer" will help as well.
To those saying Tony Adams doesn't know what he's doing, check out this footage from training, it's brilliant. https://twitter.com/ArsenalFC_fl/status/853198012524503040
Looking at their table, Adams and Granada need to win at least 6 of their remaining 7 games to have any hope of staying up
