The year is 2036. 3 months ago, after countless successive victories for TEAM EVIL in werewolf, packs of werewolves decimated planet earth's population as they roamed freely with nobody able to stop them. However, a resistance was formed between the remaining 22 cities on the planet and the werewolf population was seemingly taken care of after a number of bloody battles. Each remaining city had organised a day of celebration to take place on April 26th to commemorate the end of the war.

After a night of partying at the local celebratory parade, the leader of the global resistance, Belfast, was making his way home. He briefly thought he saw the outline of a werewolf scuttle across to an alley in front of him but figured it must've been one of the actors from the parade still in costume. Either that or it was the Guinness playing tricks on him.
'Ha, it couldn't be, the werewolves are no more! Vive La Resistance!'

He decides to continue down the alley towards his house.
As he walks up the path, fumbling for his keys, he notices the door to his home was not fully closed.
'Strange... I guess the excitement for the parade made me leave in a hurry.'

It had been a long day of partying. Belfast decided he would have one last drink and have a quick look at his e-mails to see how the other resistance leaders got on with their celebrations. His laptop was unlocked and the screen still on.

He was alarmed to see numerous e-mails in his inbox with the subjects such as 'URGENT', 'PLEASE REPLY', etc.
Thinking this was a little peculiar, he took a seat and reached for his mouse. 'Hold on, what are these hairs on my keyboard...?'. He opened his most recent email:

'What are you talking about Belfast? I hope you have just sent a drunk email to us all as surely this can't be true? THIS ISN'T A TIME FOR JOKES'

A baffled Belfast clicks on the next email:

'Way to ruin the day of celebrations with this sick joke. I thought better of you.'

In a panic, Belfast switched to his sent items. Straight away something wasn't right. 'Why is there an email that was sent 6 minutes ago?' he thought. Apprehensively, Belfast clicked on to the email sent from his account:

    'You didn't get us all.
There were 22, now there will be 21.
Revenge is simply justice with teeth.

    Yours Truly,

    Werewolf'

The blood drained from Belfast's face. His hands began shaking. He took a sip from his Guinness.

The floorboards creaked behind him and he swivelled round. Stood towering in the doorway was an 8 foot beast, fur black as Belfast's Guinness and teeth razor sharp. This was no actor.

'Get back damn beast!' Belfast exclaimed. But the beast edged closer. Belfast downed his drink and threw his glass towards the beast but it was clawed away.

'You fool, you are no match for me after a day of drinking. I knew parades and alcohol would be Belfast's downfall'.

Cowering in the corner, Belfast whimpered:

'But how, I thought we defeated you?'

The wolf, enjoying seeing his kind's mortal enemy in such a pathetic state, responded:

'We have begun taking the resistance down from the inside. Your community of leaders has been infiltrated by some of our wolves. One of the humans has also sworn loyalty to us. No man, woman or child in any city will survive our revenge'.

'But why are you telling me this?' responded Belfast.

'Because dead men tell no tales!' proclaimed the wolf who proceeded to slash Belfast's body until it was devoid of life.

The werewolf decided to send one final email from Belfast's account to all the other resistance leaders.

    'It begins.'

Awakening on the 27th April, the other city leaders discovered this e-mail. They know they must work as a team to clear the planet of werewolves once and for all before more lives are lost. How will they know which leaders have been replaced by wolves? How will they know which human is working with the wolves?

    The game has now started.

Voting will close at 8pm tonight. As it is day 1 and some players might take some time to remember the game has begun there is no message deadline.

    Today's mayor is @Prague .

Big field for this game and difficult to know who to view on Day 1. I decided to get cracking early. I went for Helsinki and given the high odds on finding someone good, I did.

So we have Helsinki and Krakow named as good, after last games we asked seer to post early,my initial guess would be first message to be the seer, any hidden meaning in message 2 french line?

Certainly Bwana. Whilst we overthrew our colonial overlords 70 years ago, I agree that it will be easy for cooperation against this new threat.

I would be wary of reading too much into that. Why would a seer give a direct link to their username? Why would a wolf?

I'm more inclined to say it's the wolf trying to cause confusion. A seer wouldn't highlight any possible clues to there identity.

Well seeing as either Helsinki or myself are going to be lynched, nothing I can do about it, however I spotted something already in the messages and someone pushing message 1 as the seer (twice).

Good luck trying to decide, I'll check in later to see if I survive.

    Morning all from Germany!

2 nice early messages. One clear and straight forward. The other adding in a bit of French. Another seer trying to be too clever for their own good or a wolf?!

Howdy partners! Nice write up. Two messages already, two players named good. So one of those is definitely good and one is unknown as the wolf will have no idea or even suspicions yet on who might be good or evil. Pot luck as usual for Day 1.

Hi everyone! I am alredy inclined to believe that first message just cause its clear and to the point

I am not sure why a villager would send such a confusing sentence at the end? Only team that would stand to benefit from any confusion at this stage is evil
