I’m ok with these sales, hoping we cling on this season, avoid relegation, maybe even do one more season of it IF Gino is genuinely looking to sell.

Will he do so for a sensible price once he’s taken his money back from player sales?

How far we off that now including Asprilla sale?

If he is asking a stupid amount now why would he change? If he used player sales to pay off his debt he will still want his £70m margin. The useless flap of skin actually thinks he has done a good job.

Like most of us I like Tom and wanted him to succeed. But be honest the football recently has been dire week after week. We play for 20 minutes at the end if we are lucky. Tom has to take responsibility for the system he plays, the formation and what he gets out of the players. He has a lot to learn. Tom's results have been good but even at Derby they hit the woodwork three times and that was a lucky win. When was the last time we started really well and continued like that all Match. Managers have to get the most out of the players he has and develop a system to achieve that. Toms judgement on strikers has been woeful. How can anyone in their right mind call Bayo "The complete striker" Tom fought for Jebbisson, well that worked out well and surely we would have been better to retain the Rajovic even just as a last 20 minutes sub. I wanted Tom to do well but I can really understand if a change is made.

The key to a good troll, is to not make it incredibly obvious.

The change the club needs now is a change of ownership. 13 years is a long time to keep the focus, energy and enthusiasm for anything, let alone running a football club that has crested the summit and is slipping further and further down the other side.

The last four or five years have been steady, managed decline with the longer term interests of the club put well, well behind the interests of the owner, the chief executive and a handful of other people.

Pozzo – like most business people – has always wanted what is best for him. For a good few years that happened to align with what was best for the football club. That is clearly no longer the case.

Tom has delivered some results but the football has been dire. Everyone is moaning about how bad it would be if Tom is sacked but I can see why it would happen.

Also what happened to all the youngsters that we were going to bring through. I thought was going to be one of Tom's strengths.

The key here is that I am not a troll just a fan that can see while I wanted tom to do well the football is dire, he cannot recognise a poor striker from a good one and he is failing to get the best out of what he has.

While I agree with some of that, the root cause of all our problems is the guy who runs the show. Yes, TC has a role in organising the side, getting the formation right and making sure the players have at least some of idea of their roles on match day. For the large part of this season he's done that, and even though we have dropped off recently in performances and results by-and-large, the players' are still playing for him and the vast majority of the fanbase back what he's doing.

He was given a squad to work with that has gone from having some of the best players' of that era to a lot of players who are either bought on the cheap to fill a gap in the squad, loaned out then loaned back or older players on extended contacts who should of been moved on seasons back (Ngakia). None of our players' are out right terrible, but I think it irks most fans' when we look at what we did have, when we had a bit of cash to spend. Even when we got relegated in 19/20 after our five year stint as a Premier League side, we still had a pretty good squad which I think was still capable of being improved as time went on. Gino's biggest error was wasting an entire window on Sarr. Nothing has really gone right since then, and I guess even before that, all the confusion over the players getting bonuses from their run in the FA Cup which either remain unpaid, late or minimised had a knock on effect with the squad the following season. Again, all this is my own personal view on it but I think some of that carries weight.

His biggest flaw (and one I think all the fanbase agree on) is his continued relationship with that parasite Mogi Bayat. We all know what sort of character he is, and it's obvious we pay more than what a player is worth. When Manga/Costa came in we all thought things would change but Bayat stuck around like a bad smell and was never truly gone. It's going to take a long time to completely reverse the last five seasons of terrible financial mis-management at this club and even then that still might not be enough. As many forum members have previously said - Gino is out for one man - himself. Once he get's his debt paid and the club is off his shoulders he will never think twice about looking back.

Sorry. He’s had some poor results and made some mistakes. I and a lot of others have been vocal about that - and done it correctly on the thread dedicated to him, not the one about bizarrely defending the owner.

But the last line is wild - suggesting we could be doing better with the players we have is beyond mental. That’s literally the one area where TC gets the biggest of free passes ever given.

There is no certainty the next manager will be any better with the squad as clearly there is not going to be any investment.

Just look at Man U as an example .

    New manager no better .

    Leicester another .

Why am I a troll because I disagree with you. Gino I am sure wants watford to do well even if it is to make more money on a sale. Do you remember when Graham Taylor talked about if I put cart horses on the pitch I expect you to back them.
I am a fan of Watford and have been for many years watching everything from juniors, London Midweek League etc.
All I am saying is that the football has been dire even in some games we have gone on to win. The Bayo complete striker thing makes most sane people doubt that he can recognise a quality striker. I can see why an owner would question can someone else get more out of my players.

If you’re a Watford fan through and through, and quoting GT expecting fans to back players come what may - shouldn’t you then be backing TC come what may, instead of criticising him on a thread designed to support the owner?

Your posts in the last 24 hours could (and should) have been made on any number of threads about the manager, given the content of them.

But you, and only you, chose to scroll down and fire up the thread supporting Gino Pozzo, by adding your comments to that one, somewhat inexplicably?

It’s not hard to see why some people might label you a troll as a result.

Graham Taylor would have demanded the striking position was sorted out asap before anything else
But in truth I don't think The Gaffer would have tolerated the owner .

I don't know about the 70s/80s as wasn't around then although clearly was a master but in the 97/98 season we brought a lot good blend of lower league players with something to prove like Hyde/Kennedy plus a bit of experience in Jason Lee (ok he didn't really fancy moving houses!) and Rocket Ronny/ie,

Combined with the good pros we had who were coming off a tricky couple of season and managed to knit them well enough to be as successful as we were.

I would say motivate too but that might be harsh on Tom as sure he tries to and it's a different era of footballer these days.
