Hadn't seen a thread on this, but apologies if I've missed it. My first WFC hero, when I saw him play in my (& his) first season, 1962-3. Left winger who also managed to score at a rate of a goal every 3 games, many times coming in late off the wing to score with a header. He had an even better scoring rate when he went to Reading after the 1965-6 season.
I only saw him playing for Cambridge Utd. Joined halfway through their last non-league season when they won the Southern League and Cup double, and scored a hat-trick on debut. One of my favourites too. Not many wingers were brilliant in the air in those days (or these).
