Hope the kidney was worth it. ;) Some of the prices on the latest graphics cards esp. the GTX40 series are astronomical. Is there anywhere that sells Othercide in a physical format ? I hate having a game just on steam.

Yeah, they are. I kept my current build for 10 years, though, so I feel OK going hard on the new one.

My new monitor came yesterday. A 32 inch 4k at 160 hz. And good grief, the step up is enormous...

The old adage is a bad workman blames his tools, but I am already performing much better in Overwatch, without any doubt. It's just easier to see people/heads, do to a combination of sharper image, size of model increase relative to my eyes, practically zero motion blur, and really low response times/latency. Lovely stuff.

Got my 4090 now and it is a truly absurd performer. Some games are running at 4k with max settings and still getting hundreds of FPS. Looking forward to seeing what the updated Witcher 3 can get with DLSS 3 turned on!

It is also absurdly large. I had millimetres to spare getting it into the case.

Has the GBA been forgotten so soon???

    Fairly good em' here:

It's not bad... forgot to mention the controls to save people having to fanny around smashing the keyboard:

    L-Bumper: A
    R-Bumper: S
    B: Z
    A: X
    Start: Enter

    Left/Right/Up/Down: Arrow Keys

Has anyone released a game that properly utilises the PS5 potential?

They all seem to be up rez versions of PS4 games, consequently my white monster is collecting dust,

Same as our XBOX X - it's mainly used as our home's media server. The Halo game was 'alrightish' but nothing special...

Now I finally have a decent gaming PC, is it worth picking up "Cyberpunk 77"? It's half price (£25.00) on steam for a few days. I've checked my specs and can run it on mostly all high settings so performance/framerate will not be a problem. Has anyone played it? What did you think, and is it worth the price drop? I do want Elden Ring but cannot justify the price right now. FromSoftware seem to never put any of their games on reduced prices.

Brilliant game. One of my favourites of the past couple of years. Did you get it in the end?

If not, look on cdkeys.com. Generally cheaper 95% of the time than buying directly on Steam, even when Steam has a sale on.

Finally got around to playing and completing God of War, now that it's on PC. What a f**king game.

Now depressed I'll probably have to wait another 12-18 months for Ragnarok to show up on PC.

I purchased Cyberpunk in the Steam sales alongside Enter/Exit The Gungeon & Disco Elysium.

Finished Disco Elysium, what an incredible game! Played nothing like it before so had to adjust but its a game that will stay with you for a long time, well worth a purchase.

Enter The Gungeon is an incredibly fun game to pick up and play. Really recommend it.

Havent got around to Cyberpunk yet, Im playing through high on life as a 'cleanser game' after playing two incredible games in God of War Ragnarok and Disco Elysium.

God of War 2018 better than Ragnarok but two great games, @NathWFC just get it on PS4, that's what I did, didn't regret it and not about getting hit for spoilers on a game experience like that even though I'm on PC.

Yes I did. It was alright, reminded me a lot of GTA and Sleeping Dogs. Loved Night City - as a location it's got to be one of the best designed virtual world's ever created. Jackie was a great character, V was pretty smart-arse but I liked the personality in the time the game was set. I ended up playing a female V and losing my erm.. "V Card" to Judy ;) Some of the side missions were pretty funny. Bloke with his "member" on fire was awesome. If I had one gripe, there were too many NCPD side jobs. Cars were fantastic and the fact you can steal them from anyone was a nice feature. Voice Acting was spot on - music on the radio was brilliant. I would easily give it 8/10. It's just a shame CD Projeckt Red never had time to fully transform Night City to the extent they promised in the build up but what they did manage to put out (with all free DLC) is very impressive. Keanu Reeves as Johnny? Wow.

This game is a one of a kind experience.

Bought it. Started a new game. Made my character after taking a fair bit of time to read through the very numerous options. He's a big brain type with elevated mental stats, and low physical stats.

Exited character creation. Game starts. First thing I do is try to retrieve a necktie from a ceiling fan. My character fails to do so. Being physically frail and unfit, my character has a heart attack and dies. I hadn't even saved yet.

I laughed so hard. Brilliant stuff.
