ok bear with me here........ could freddy adu come to us on loan? i mean, he wont play for the united first team straight away. and fergie seems to send all his players he wants to gain experiecne. i doubt but you never know
Would be good Somebody told me he was joining reading? They were singing his name at West Ham Away :S
i know on football manager he's a good player, but in the real world he's been chronically dissapointing. If the chance for a loan came in i think it wouldn't be worth it.
sorry but this lad has been playing against a bunch of yanks for his whole life..... the gap between the premiership and the american league is bigger than the ocean between us! just because he's good in fm doesn't make him a good player in reality.....
The only thing i can think of to say in answer to that is... Jay Demerit.. he is a yank and had to come to the UK to be able to play professional football so its unfair to really say that cos he is good out there means he wont be here... I watch a lot of MLS on channel 5 and there are quite a few players out there i wouldnt mind.. like Matt Reis, New England Revolutions Keeper, not only a fantastic strong hard working keeper but also, as he proved in the MLS cup final, a great spot kick taker too, or Bobby Boswell of D.C.United, won the MLS defender of the year. I do agree that there is quite a gulf between the two divisions though.
Manchester United have rejected 'wonderkid' Freddy Adu after the American teenager spent a week on trial at Old Trafford. (Daily Mirror)
