    a few rumors I have heard today;

    1. Has had an op and will be out for sometime.

    2. Serious injury and his loan has been recalled to enable Manure to sort it.

Personally i think option 1 is nearer the truth, but lets hope Aidy goes for Alec over coco who yet again Saturday looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

please god both of these rumours are false. we can't take another long term injury to one of our key players

Possibly both. Man U always take their injured "on loan" people back home for a checkover, I presume the same is true if he's had to have an operation.

We will just have to wait and see lets not get all worked up about it just yet.

When he done his knee a few weeks ago, he went back to carrington they thought it needed an operation but Fungus in conversation with Aidy agreed to the rest and to postpone it in the hope it cleared up.

he won't be so generous twice, not looking good I am afraid.

Time for Rich to step up. Think he's been OK. Alec will need to dust of the Zimmer. Whils this is a blow I have more confidence in Richa after watchign the few he's played so far.

Lets hope it's not as serious as is rumnoured and Big Ben is back ASAP.

I have faith in both our main keepers. Alec is a legend and Lee is as good at "one on ones" as anyone I've seen.

It's a great opportunity for Lee. He can work on communication and developing a presence in the penalty area. His shot-stopping is great. He'll be fine. It's not really fair to ask Alec; at his age it must take him a fortnight to recover after a match.

Disagree. I'm a tad older than Alec and I can still do an hours 5 a side once a week against a team of "youts". He just stands about for 90 minutes, with ale at half time! I'm surprised there's not many over 40's keepers ;)

    Didn't Southall play at 44?

Its not the first time jobr has started a rumour, and it turns out not to be true.

Wow, I thought you chaps might have left it at least 2 days before that one was raised. It happened on the main boards and it stays there thanks. Everyone starts with a clean sheet here.

As for the Foster rumour, that's the whole point of this particular forum so I welcome anything we can speculate about. We'll find out the truth very soon anyway.

Now don't be silly Andrew, the two statements I made about Marlon were perfectly true about him being in two differing establishments on two occasions.

if you are going to bring your immature drivel along with your wooden spoon over to here kindly don't bother and go back to the fiscal site where I see you have just returned from a ban tonight but are already arguing with two other members.

Andrew perhaps when you have saved up some of your paper round money you would care for a wager about Fosters condition??????

I may have been wrong a few times, but most information i provide is normally bang on.

jealousy is a terrible thing, don't let it eat you away little one.

I'm also older and I can still throw myself around but I pay for it later. Anyway, what about the effect of standing around in the cold on his rheumatism? I hope he's had his flu jab;D

I would play Alec as opposed to Lee Tuesday night.

this is a massive must win game and as good a shot stopper as Lee is, we need a cool head and a well marshaled defence, sadly Lee won't provide that.

Considering there have been no reports in any press to state otherwise lets just all believe what the club tells us and let it go...
as far as i am concerned if there was more to it and the truth was what has been claimed on the ficial site then there would have been something on the news about it.. they love to bring footballers down a peg or two when they get the chance and not even a whisper in the sun.. so it cant be true, he is injured leave it at that.

Lee has done well this season when he has been playing, remember he was in goal when got our 1st win and a clean sheet.

I agree. we can honestly say that his stint on loan was a good thing, he has come back a far better keeper than when he left us, before i didnt have much time for him but since seeing him a couple of times this season i have changed my view on him somewhat.

Nobody's ever come close to IMO our best keeper ever, Tony Coton. Legend.

Is your mole a hospital worker, and are they going to live under the Rookery when it's rebuilt?

    ;D

No, in all honesty I get bits and pieces from a few people. Most are normally quite accurate, but like anything some don't come to anything.

For instance in the summer i was told from a good source jobi mac was having a medical, could of been true but he certainly never signed so it was doubtful.

I have a large piece of pie here for you Andrew, I believe the fiscal site has announced a short time ago he had an operation.

I will add the lack of detail about the seriousness of the op is a concern, but perhaps Manure haven't told us everything yet.

i can't see it being a quick recovery

Your rumour was spot on. That's exactly what this forum is for, rumours and transfers. You've taken some stick for the Marlon thing so credit where it's due.

    (and keep 'em coming ;))

the only stick i took about the Marlon thing was were people accused me of saying things that i didn't.

Just so we are clear, although I don't want to go over old ground, the two sitings i reported were both based on eye witness accounts.;)
