Our home form has been the main reason why we're where we are this season. Bonus points if you can tell me where the above castle is from, yes obviously in Wales, but where in Wales.
Bingo. My brother used to live in Love Lane in Denbigh in a house where you would constantly bang your head on the low ceilings and door frames. Denbigh Castle was at the end of the road.
At school on Anglesey in the 80's, just mentioning Denbigh was saying someone was crazy. Denbigh had the local 'asylum' at the time. For example "haaaa, you dozzzey wazzzock, you belong in Denbigh."
Bit sad to think our best record for ages at home was in front of no fans! Bet it won't be the same next season...
I did a Google image search on the thread title and most of what came up was simply pictures connected with Watford FC. It did remind me though that we won ten home games in a row - seems like a different and long ago era, even though it was less than eight months ago!
Give it time. Won't be long till Sema is ripping up the Championship again like last time. You do have to wonder though where the goals are going to come from, with our most creative player more than likely gone. I do hope we hang onto Cucho. On the flip side we won't have to pay for Tufan. Silver linings.
If Nath, moog and Co can just successfully get us to boycott the club we'll sweep all before us again!
It would be interesting to know what the biggest boycott(s) (either in relative or absolute terms) is/are in the history of football. In England over the whole season before Wimbledon moved to Milton Keynes and became MK Dons there was a massive boycott as crowds dropped to three figures and people flocked en masse to watch their new club, I don't think anything comes close in this country.
