McGugan has 2 in 2 games now. Both of them increasing their value week by week. Good stuff.

 

At least it's a small chink of light at the end of the tunnel. If he can go on a productive run between now and April he might be able to offer something to us on his return. I can't see it happening but you never know.

 

I didn't realise McGugan had another year on his deal. I thought this nightmare was nearly over and he'd slip away without anyone noticing.

 

The bigger liability is Dyer.

I don't get what about McGugan is a nightmare? He chipped in with his fair share last season. It's not worked out for him here and he'll probably earn us a six figure sum in the summer either in a transfer fee or loan fee. I don't want him back but I don't see him the number one problem.

Absolutely. I still find it a shame it hasn't worked out. Very talented lad.

Wove always hoped that the next phase of the Pozzo model would be to sell some players and give us some cash to spend domestically, on promising young players who can potentially make the step up.

Doesn't sound like he's had the best of games in the last week or so. Millwall look doomed, to me.

 

His falling-over skills are second to none. Of course he would have run riot against Fulham, skipping over their late tackles, battling for possession...

 

Yes - Millwall look really stuffed. I think it's more likely we see Wigan string together a good run and make a fist of staying up than seeing it from the Lions.
