Play the kids and any new signings.

    Morris master class tomorrow.

I looked at the fixture list the other day and found myself relieved to see that the next couple of fixtures were away matches that I couldn’t go to. This is what this season has come to for me. I shall take an occasional look to see how much we’re losing by tomorrow but that’s the extent of my interest at the moment.

    Best ever match preview.
Real zero pointer, doesn't matter whether we win or lose game.
Will check the score tomorrow evening (and the severity of Dennis's imminent knee injury).
    Leicester 4 Watford 3 (Dennis 3).

    Something like

    Elliot
    Ngakia
    Sierralta
    Samir
    Kamara
    Sissoko
    Gosling
    Tufan
    Cucho
    Fletcher
    Pedro

Think that will be pretty close (assuming the two new signings are available).

First live game in nearly two years.

    It’ll probably be a stinker.

I would play Cathcart and WTE. If we are going to go out early, best let them do their basic Sunday school errors' in a game that eliminates us from a competition we won't win because it will be Man City in the final again. Save the new blood (if ready), for the real crunch games.

Doubt WTE is gonna fly back from Cameroon for this one to be honest.

    WTE is at the AFCON.
It's a dilemma for me. Play your best side to try and bring some consistency, which quite frankly hasn't happened all season. Or just eff it off and introduce the new fellas for a little cameo second half.
It's a massive week after that with the current three below to be played. I'd rather have everyone fit and firing for those in the possible season defining 7 days.

Leicester will take this game seriously. They are the perfect FA Cup side. Strong enough in the league to not worry about relegation, and just flirting with the European places. The FA Cup represents an ideal way to win something, and they are the current holders too.

If Watford go weak, they'll get battered. Could be 6 or 7.

I wouldn't want King or Dennis to play in this, but I'd go as strong as possible in all other positions. Give Samir and Kamara their debuts. Get them up to speed as fast as possible.

Weren't Leicester complaining about barely having any players for this game?

Leicester have got something like 13 players available and Todgers has already been on about giving youth a chance, rotating etc. I can't see them taking it that seriously in the sense of who they put on the pitch.

Surely he will want to defend the cup to some sort of extent though?

Well if he was thinking their youth and reserves could beat whatever shambles we put out, he'd probably be right? It's not the highest risk ever. Plus fixture congestion is piling up and they've got the Conference League next month to contend with.

We normally struggle to beat second string championship or league one teams in the cup, so whatever 13 players Leicester have will be able to do it blindfolded.

Couldn’t care less. Great chance to play fringe players and kids and maybe include the new signings on the bench.

Only a rumour at the monent but I’m absolutely gobsmacked to hear that Luke Thomas and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall caught Covid at the darts.

Originally I thought we might as well play the kids as I am more concerned with our PL survival than the cup this season.

However with the make or break week we have been dealt with by the PL organisers I now think we should play our strongest possible team including our new recruits providing they and all the others selected are FULLY FIT and not carrying even a slight injury.

As I now see this as a chance to give our new recruits as a chance to start bedding into the team and that in turn might just give us a better chance during our make or break week to hopefully get the points we desperately need.

I see what you're saying but I reckon Ranieri will take the opposite view and see that big week as requiring a low-risk line up against Leicester.

As far as I can tell we currently have one fit centre half and one fit left back, the truly abominable Jannik Vestergaard and Ryan Bertrand.

Also only one right back available and no strikers.

It’s going to be a shambles. I doubt us or Everton will want to play the league fixture on Tuesday. I think I read that the FA aren’t allowing cancellations this weekend.
