I would imagine it'll be after it. There's nothing to be gained by an interim manager taking a hiding at Anfield

It was so funny when they panned in on his face and kept on him for longer than was comfortable. I counted three pouts. It was marvellous viewing.

Has he gone yet? They probably played better than we will in two weeks time. They scored two goals against them.

Looks like he really is a gonna now. Odds at 1/33 which is as certain as you can get.

It's actually a bit of a shame. Not because I don't want to see him suffer, but it would mean lame duck Everton may start winning and pulling away from us. The more strugglers there are, the better.

I'm torn, as much as I would love to see the snake get his comeuppance, I have to agree with HB1 from our point of view it might be better if he stayed, otherwise a new manager might give Everton the impetus to pull even further away from us

Everton have sacked manager Marco Silva after 18 months, with the club in the Premier League relegation zone after their Merseyside derby humiliation.

Wednesday's 5-2 defeat by Liverpool at Anfield was their ninth of the season and leaves them 18th in the Premier League after three successive losses.

Silva, who took charge in May 2018, won 24 and lost 24 of his 60 games.

Everton are now searching for their fourth permanent boss since Roberto Martinez was sacked in May 2016.

Former Everton manager David Moyes has been considered as a potential interim successor, but the suggestion has sparked a largely negative reaction from supporters and it remains to be seen whether majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri and his boardroom colleagues ignore that and invite the 56-year-old Scot to return.

Moyes spent 11 years as Everton manager, and his return has been seen by fans as a retrograde step given his lack of success since leaving for Manchester United in 2013.

He was sacked at United and Real Socieded and was in charge of Sunderland when they were relegated from the Premier League before having a short spell at West Ham.

It has been suggested that if Moyes does return he could bring another Everton old boy Tim Cahill back as his assistant.

Following an act of contrition...welcome back to Watford, Marco Silva.

    You heard it here first.

  17. I mean, just imagine we re-hire him and stay up, and Everton go down!!!!!

Funny as that would be, Gino & Scott can't stand him so I doubt it would ever happen.

BREAKING NEWS.... Silva has had his first conference with his new job.

In a WFCForums Exclusive, Marco Silva sat down with forum Media correspondents @wfcmoog, @hornetboy1 and @CleyHorn.

"I am delighted to be back at Watford. But before I continue, I must first address the Watford fans personally. I was a slithering snake to you
lot for stabbing you in the back last time I was here. My time at Everton was eventful but unfulfilling. I hope I am welcomed back."

Media outlets caught word that Marco has not offered to bring 50M sold ex-striker Richarlison back to Vicarage Road in his stead. Silva
refused to comment on this speculation. Keep it posted here for more exclusive WFCFourm news.

I wonder how Richarlison feels about it. He's only just signed a new contract extension. No doubt another angry imoji on his Twitter account is on its way.

Surely Richie must have noticed that Silva was skating on thin ice.

He's obviously Everton through and through, like Rooney.

  23. It's widely know that he's supported Everton ever since he was a little boy. He used to sit in his little shack watching his favourite player Kevin Kilbane tearing up the opposition, dreaming of one day donning the royal blue of the toffees and emulating his childhood hero.

Now their best player will throw his rattle out of the pram and stop playing. Richarlison to be sold in the summer for £25mil.

Absurd decision, in my opinion, by Everton to fire Marco Silva after his first bad run. He’ll be snapped up very quickly and Everton will almost certainly get someone less talented.

Can't think why we wouldn't be.

Everton help us get rid of a **** manager, paid over the odds for an under performing player and then topped it off with a nice compensation payment, whilst offering some excellent entertainment at the same time. Many thanks.

It isn’t behind the realms of possibility that he will come back here.

    knows the squad
    For Richarlison read sarr
    did well before becoming serpentine
    Almost saved hull
    Out of work

just put in some sort of clause that if he talks to any other clubs he forfeits his life

this is surely the reason the pozzos are waiting

how many games would he have to win before we forgave him?
I’d bet 3 on the trot and we’d tolerate him. Save us from relegation and all is forgiven
